Around Town Entertainment had three beautiful weddings on a weekend that started a bit early this week!
Our first wedding, on Thursday, June 19th started off the wedding weekend early!
Oheka Castle was the venue chosen by Aimee Kestenberg and Sean Elan for their New York style wedding.
The couple exchanged vows on the great lawn of this beautiful property.

Aimee and her bridal party walked down the aisle with a dramatic string quartet provided by Around Town Entertainment.
The guests moved inside, enjoying Around Town Entertainment’s jazz trio for their cocktail music.
For the reception, the guests moved into the main reception hall and danced the night away.
The Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment and Aimee’s favorite DJ, shared the stage, playing everything from the top radio and club hits to the client’s favorite Elvis songs!

Oheka Castle is the perfect setting for a fairy tale wedding!

Saturday, June 21, 2014, was the wedding of Aynsley Karps and Nathan Farber.
The couple chose the quaint and architecturally beautiful Foundry in Long Island City, New York as their venue.
The couple first enjoyed a very warm and touching ceremony in the Foundry’s main room.

The acoustic guitarist from Around Town Entertainment played their ceremony music.
Songs such as “Sparks” by Coldplay and “You Are The Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne were chosen as the couple’s ceremony music.
The guests then moved outdoors on a perfect summer’s eve to enjoy their sit down dinner.
The live dinner music was provided by Around Town Entertainment. The guests enjoyed a formal dinner as the ensemble serenaded the guests.
Once dinner was fully enjoyed, the guests moved back inside for a wedding dance party!

The Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment was the chosen band for their wedding celebration.
Aynsley and Nathan started off the dance set with their official first dance as a married couple, with the song “Crazy Love” by Van Morrison. The guests then danced to a variety of styles of music selected by wedding couple.
Songs like “That’s What I Like About You” by the Romantics, “I Feel Good” by James Brown really had the crowd feeling elated as they burned up the dance floor!
As the couple was congratulated and the last song of the night was played, the crowd cheered for more music. The band was thrilled to oblige! The party ended with a bang and it was quite an amazing night!

Sunday afternoon, June 22, 2014, the Around Town Band was at the Temple Beth El in Chappaqua, New York. This Westchester synagogue was the perfect place for a New York wedding!
Katie Dreskin and Mark Boonshoft had attended another wedding with Around Town Entertainment and knew right away they had to have them for their wedding!
This beautiful couple first exchanged vows in the synagogue as the piano player from Around Town Entertainment played their favorite, chosen Beatles songs on the grand piano.
The guests then enjoyed their cocktails outdoors on a perfect sunny day.
The jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment set up and played outdoors for the guests.
For the reception, the Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment set the room on fire with a traditional Hora and then with the couple’s favorite chosen dance hits.

Songs from Stevie Wonder, Chuck Berry, and Huey Lewis filled the room along with today’s current hits, including “Call Me Maybe” chosen by the bride!
This was an amazing Sunday afternoon wedding with great vibes and love in the air!

It was a great weekend of events for Around Town Entertainment!
On June 6, 2014 the Around Town Band performed for hundreds of guests at Fairleigh Dickinson University for their annual Charter Day Gala.
The guests enjoyed a night of dinner and dancing during the event.
The Around Town Band began by entertaining the guests during their dinner program. Once the dinner and awards ceremony concluded it was a full night of dancing !  The guests raved about the music as they danced to their favorite music!

Also on June 6, 2014, the After Party Band from Around Town Entertainment performed for a Delta Tours corporate.
The event took place at the Hudson Theater in New York City.
The band was the featured music and entertainment for this themed corporate  event! The night was all about famous movie theme songs.
The band took the stage and played an entire evening of movie theme songs that were selected specifically for this event by the client!
The guests had an interactive segment during the event as well, where the band played a kind of “Name That Tune” game.
As the guests from China heard the internationally known songs sung in English, they shouted out their answers in Cantonese!   It was a very elegant event and the After Party Band enjoyed entertaining the international crowd!

On June 7, 2014, the A-List Band from Around Town Entertainment was the chosen New York wedding band for Nivia Colon and Nicholas Ciarcia’s wedding.
The  wedding venue chosen for this event , was the beautiful Bourne Mansion, in Oakdale, New York .  What a stunning property with amazing views!
The guests were first escorted to the great lawn for the ceremony. The guitar and piano duo from Around Town Entertainment played the  chosen ceremony music.
The song “1000 years” by Christina Perri filled the outdoor air as the bride walked down the courtyard steps and the aisle to her soon to be husband.

The guests then moved to the courtyard for their cocktail hour. Around Town Entertainment provided a trio to play wedding cocktail music outdoors for their guests. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect as the sun complimented the views of the mansion and surrounding property.
The guests enjoyed a 10 piece wedding band from Around Town Entertainment.
In between dancing to chosen favorite songs such as “Treasure” by Bruno Mars, a Spanish version of “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion, and “I Love It” by Icona Pop, the guests were treated to fireworks on the lawn. Nivia and Nicholas really pulled out all the stops!!
Their guest DJ played some amazing Latin music as a dance troop hit the dance for and surprised all the guests, performing an elaborate choreographed piece.
After the fireworks, The A-List band set off  a dance set that created an even more explosive even!  And the guests danced the rest the night away in style!

Around Town Entertainment was in Montauk on May 31, 2014 for the wedding of Allie Kosterich and Dan Salomone.
The couple selected the A-List Band from Around Town Entertainment as their wedding band!
The wedding was held at East of North East in beautiful Montauk, New York.
The event started with cocktails outdoors as the acoustic guitar and piano player from Around Town Entertainment serenaded the guests.
The guests took a stroll to the lake where the couple exchanged vows overlooking the lake as the sun set.
The ceremony music provided by Around Town Entertainment played the selected wedding ceremony songs.
“Tupelo Honey” by Van Morrison, “Si Tu Vois Ma Mere” by Sidney Bechet, “Claire De Lune” by Claude Debussy
and “What is Life” by George Harrison were all enjoyed as the ceremony commenced.
After the crowd cheered for the newlyweds, they moved to the dinner and dancing reception.
The guests walked in and the dancing began! The nine piece dance band treated the guests to the Allie and
Dan’s chosen dance songs,”Dance To the Music” by Sly and The Family Stone, “Hold On I’m Coming” by Sam and Dave and then “Into the Mystic” by Van Morrison for the couples first official dance as husband and wife.
A traditional Hora ensued and all guests joined in the on the jubilation!

Throughout the night, the guests filled the dance floor as the band played the couples favorite wedding music.
Some of their favorite wedding songs chosen were: “Timber” by Kesha, “Pickin up The Pieces” by The Average White Band, and “Shake Your Groove Thing” by Peaches and Herb. The father of the bride requested the song “Harrison” for the band to learn so that their guest could dedicate and sing the song as a tribute to the bride and groom and the family. The band was thrilled to learn the song and enjoyed the guests vocalist as he entertained the crowd!
The event went into overtime as the bride and groom and their guests didn’t want the party to end!
The A-List Band from Around Town Entertainment was thrilled to have been selected as the New York wedding band for Mr. and Mrs. Salomone!
