Perfect Manhattan Wedding

We can’t help but reminisce about the absolutely spectacular wedding day on Friday, August 23, 2019. The After Party Band from Around Town Entertainment performed for over 300 people at the Tribeca Rooftop in New York City!

It was the celebration of Jenny and James’s wedding. Many in the audience were hearing the wedding band perform live for the first time and we sure didn’t disappoint!

Tribeca Rooftop is a chic industrial event venue located in the trendy downtown neighborhood of Tribeca, New York City. Located on a cobblestone street in a 1920’s printing press building, Tribeca Rooftop set the perfect atmosphere for the wedding band’s classy and refined taste. The expansive glass atrium and large windowed walls offered an iconic backdrop for the night’s music from Around Town Entertainment.

The band played classic hits that had the crowd on their feet the entire night!   It was a true New York wedding experience at the stunningly beautiful venue.

The evening began with a beautiful ceremony overlooking the One World Trade Center.  The wedding ceremony piano player from Around Town Entertainment first serenaded the guests as the anticipation of the bride’s grand entrance built.

For the processional, the bridal walked to “Sinking Deep” by Hillsongs.

The bride chose the traditional wedding song “Wedding March” the Chris Wrisner version. For the recessional, the newlywed husband and wife made their first kiss to the song “Crazy in Love” by Beyonce, and what a perfect song choice it was! It truly was a start to a beautiful and most memorable day!

The guests then enjoyed their glamorous cocktail party, as the trio from Around Town Entertainment played perfect wedding cocktail music throughout the city skyline. The guests then moved back to the ballroom which seemed to magically transform in one hour to the perfect, stunning dream wedding reception setting.

The couple’s first dance wedding song was “Moves Like Jagger” by Maroon 5.

The bride chose “Shut Up and Dance With Me” by Walk the Moon as her father daughter wedding song.

“Make You Feel My Love” by Adele was the selected song for Mother and son wedding song.

The bride and groom also got to hear some of their favorite wedding dance songs from Lady Gage and Black Eyed Peas specially learned and prepared by Around Town Entertainment.

We had this general idea of a “Manhattan” wedding and after visiting TriBeca Rooftop it fit the bill even better than any idea we had imagined. The bride and groom  are still raving about it almost a year later!

Tribeca Rooftop was beyond anything we could have imagined as a venue. Not only is the place beautiful on its own, but the people dancing to the music was amazing. We really couldn’t have chosen a better place to play at a very special wedding.

The After Party Band from Around Town Entertainment was honored to be part of such a beautiful New York City wedding.

We look forward to our weekend of weddings to come!
