Justin Timberlake sings with Around Town Entertainment as June events continue!!

June is the traditional month for weddings, with its lovely weather and relaxed atmosphere of summer. Flowers are in bloom and so is love! Around Town Entertainment has certainly been busy with some of the best weddings we have ever played. Here are some highlights.

Cepeda/Patone Wedding—Crescent Beach Club—Bayville, New York—June 26, 2015

The lovely Crescent Beach Club in Bayville, New York, was the setting for the incredible Cepeda/Patone wedding. The bridal party entered to “Groove Is In the Heart” by Deelite-Lisala, while the bride and groom made their entrance to the “Power Of Love” by Huey Lewis and the News. The new couple danced their first dance to “All of Me” by Frank Sinatra, and the father and bride danced to “That’s Amore” by Dean Martin, setting an old-style flavor for this amazing event, while the mother and groom danced to “I’ll Be There” by the Jackson 5. Back to the up-tempo dance music, the crowd went wild to “Culo” by Pitbull and “Jungle Love” by The Time, while the band also played a selection of Spanish music. Everyone danced the night away in great style!

Wicker/Panzer Wedding—Wicker Residence—166 Briscoe Road, New Canaan, CT—June 27, 2015

Wedding bells sounded for the Wicker/Panzer nuptials on June 27, and Around Town Entertainment was there to
help everyone celebrate. A string trio played during the cocktail hour, then the band kicked in for the reception with “My Love Is Your Love” by Whitney Houston. The guests danced to “Danza Kuduro” by Don Omar, “Call Your Girlfriend” by Robyn, “Trumpets” by Jason Derulo, “Timber” and “Proud Mary.” Everyone had a blast!

Kaufman/Cooper Wedding-Rockleigh Country Club-Rockleigh, NJ-June 28, 2015

The lovely Kaufman/Cooper wedding took place at the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockley, NJ on June 28, 2015, with a lovely morning service. The bridal party entered to the “Canon in D,” while the bride came down the aisle to the “Theme from Love Actually.” The recessional was “Ose Shalom.” The reception was equally beautiful with the bride and groom entering to “You Are The Best Thing,” by Ray La Montagne. The couple’s first dance was to “I Will” by the Beatles, while the father/daughter dance took place to “Man in My Little Girl’s Life: by Michael Douglas and the mother/son dance was to “Wind Beneath My Wings” by Bette Midler. The party also danced the Hora as well as to selections like “Lara’s Song” from Dr. Zhivago, “Lucky” by Jason Mraz, “Rainbow Connection” by GTO and “All My Loving” by the Beatles. There were also songs by Whitney Houston, Van Morrison, Michael Jackson, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Mumford and Sons, Sarah Bareilles, Adele, Amy Winehouse, James Morrison and Blurred Lines. It was certainly a wonderful reception for a great couple!

DeGuzman/Borod Wedding-New York Botanical Gardens Stone House-June 28, 2015

The DeGuzman/Borod wedding took place at the breathtaking Stone House in the New York Botanical Gardens, beginning with the “Canon in D” for the wedding party as well as other lovely classical songs for processionals and
recessionals. The band played soft background music for the cocktail hour while the reception included “Cup of Life” by Ricky Martin, “Fire Burning/911” by Sean Kingston, “I Gotta Feelin” by the Blacked-Eyed Peas, “Don’t Stop the Party” by Pitbull, “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore-Katrina and “Raise Your Glass” by Pink. The bride and groom entered to “Where Have You Been” by Rhianna and danced their first dance to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. The father of the bride danced with his daughter to “The Way You Look Tonight” and the groom’s mother danced with her son to “The Best is Yet to Come.” A lovely evening ended with the party dancing to the greatest hits by Around Town Entertainment!

Around Town Entertainment has been busy with the beginning of wedding season in late May/early June! We have played for so many great weddings, it is hard to choose a favorite. We love all of our brides and grooms and enjoy celebrating their great days with them!

Yung/Hafner Wedding-Harbor Club at Prime-Halesite, NY-May 24, 2015

The exciting Yung/Hafner wedding began with the bride and groom entering to “Down” by Jay Sean, then dancing their first dance to “Crazy Love” by Michael Buble. Father and daughter danced to “Lullaby” by Billy Joel and mother and son danced to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. During the cake cutting, “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran was the song of choice, and the last dance of the night was “Shout.” Everyone had a wonderful time dancing to “Semi Charmed Life” by Third Eye Blind as well as “Sugar” and “Four Five Seconds” by Rhianna, “Bills,” “Times of Our Lives,” “Want to Want,” “Love Me Like You Do,” “Shake It Off,” “All About Bass,” “Lips Are Moving,” “Shut Up and Dance,” “Uptown Funk” and “Don’t Look Down.” Guests particularly enjoyed the special grooms’ dance right after the first dance. Everyone had a blast, and congratulations to the happy couple!

Intercontinental Hotel in Miami, Florida—May 28, 2015

The gang from the Around Town Band took a road trip to Miami this weekend tothe fabulous Intercontinental Hotel to play and sing for a great wedding. We performed “1000 Years” as well as “Best Days of My Life” by American Authors as well as other great hits. The bride and groom loved our music, and we were excited to be part of their special event!

Santangelo/Iptolito Wedding-Bonnett Island Estate, Manahawkin, NJ-May 30, 2015

The glamourous Santangelo/Iptolito wedding began with the processional “Better Together” by Jack Johnson and the bride’s song “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” with the recessional being “All You Need Is Love” by The Beatles. The bride and groom entered the reception to

“The Temper Trap” by Sweet Disposition and had their first dance to “Home” by Edward Sharp. The father/daughter dance was held to “Father Daughter” by Paul Simon, while mother and son danced to “93 Million Years” by Jason Mraz. Guests danced to “Shambala” by Three Dog Night, “Love Her Madly” by The Doors, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” by Queen, “All Shook Up” by Elvis, and “Suit and Tie” and “Bend me Shape” by American Breed. The dance floor was certainly hopping during this fun and exciting event!

Bradle/Ratnaswamy Wedding-Grandview-Poughkeepsie, NY-Friday, June 5, 2015

The lovely Bradle/Ratnaswamy wedding at the Grandview kicked off with the bridal party entrance song “Blurred Lines” by R.Thicke and the bride and groom’s entrance to “Dutty Wine” by Tony Matterhorn. The bride and groom’s first dance was to “Stay With Me” by Sam Smith with revised lyrics, while the father/daughter dance was to two songs: “Hero” by Mariah Carey and “My Girl” by the Temptations. Mother and son danced to “A Song For Mama” by Boys 2 Men, and the cake cutting was held to “Sugar” by Maroon 5. Guests enjoyed dancing to “Bridge Over Troubled Water” in which they all joined in and sang, “Never My Love” by The Association, “Say My Name” by Destiny’s Child, “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis, “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton, and “NO” by Bon Jovi. What a great evening with great friends!

Ebbecke/Goldstein Wedding-Woodbury Country Club, Woodbury, NY-June 6, 2015

The Ebbecke/Goldstein Wedding started out rocking with the bridal party entrance to “Fireball” by Pitbull and the bride and groom’s entrance to the “Top Gun Anthem,” while the new couple danced their first dance to “Bonfire Hearts” by James Blunt. A special brother/sister dance took place to “My Wish” while mother and son danced to “In My Life” by the Beatles. The cake was cut to “A Moment Like This” by Kelly Clarkson. We enjoyed this special evening with this special couple!

D’Ambrisi/Herndon Wedding—Muttontown Club, East Norwich, NY-June 6, 2015

The D’Ambrisi/Herndon wedding kicked off with the couple’s first dance to “You’ll Always Be My Girl” and the father/daughter dance to “You’ll be In My Heart” by Phil Collins, while mother and son danced to “My Wish” by Rascall Flatts. Guests enjoyed grooving to “Single Ladies” by Beyonce, “Ain’t No Mountain,” “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” “Timber,” and “Can’t Hold Us.” What a great wedding with a fantastic group of people!

Hydzik/Senerchia Wedding-Imperia, Somerset, NJ-June 13, 2015

The Hydzik/Senerchia wedding started out with a bang when the bride and groom entered to “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk the Moon and “Heaven” by DJ Sammy. Their first dance was to “History in the Making” by Darius Rucker, with the mother/son dance to “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder and the father/daughter dance to “Never Alone” by Lady Antebellum. The cake cutting took place to “Best I Ever Had” by Gavin DeGraw. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with this lovely couple!

Lachman/Nicholson Wedding-Montauk Yacht Club, Montauk, NY-June 13, 2015

The lovely Lachman/Nicholson wedding began with the processional “Canon in D” and the bride’s entrance to “Trumpet Voluntary” then ended with a special bagpipe recessional. Guests adjourned to the reception where the bridal party entered to “Happy” by Pharell and the bride and groom entered to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.” The couple danced their first dance to “Stand by Me” by Ben E. King, with a family dance to “We Are Family.” Guests danced to “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars, “Do You Love Me” by the Contours, and “Shout.” What a great evening to dance the night away!

Terkeltaub/Fleeter Wedding-The Yale Club, New York-Saturday, June 20, 2015

The Terkeltaub/Fleeter wedding took place at the distinguished Yale Club where the processional was conducted to the “Canon In D” by Pachelbel, while the bride entered to
“A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri and the party recessed to “Oh What A Night” by the Four Seasons. The bridal party entered the reception to “Crazy In Love” by Beyonce, while the bride and groom entered to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder, and then danced a special dance routine to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. Father and daughter danced to “Your Smiling Face” by James Taylor, while mother and son danced to “Through the Years” by Kenny Rogers. The Hora was danced to “Simon Tov,” “Avenu Shalom,” and “Hava Negilah.” The mother made a toast to “I’m Coming Out” by Diana Ross, while the cake cutting took place to “How Sweet It Is” by James Taylor. Guests danced to “Jealous” by Nick Jonas, “Want to Want Me,” “Dear Future Husband” by Meghan Trainer and “Life Is A Highway” by Rascall Flatts. Everyone
enjoyed this magical evening!

Mutziger/Rose Wedding-Blue Point, New York-June 20, 2015

The lovely Mutziger/Rose wedding took place at the family home in Blue Point with the bridal party and bride and groom entering to “Long Train Running” by the Doobie Brothers. The first dance was to “Love Song” by Adele, while father and daughter danced to “Summertime” and mother and son danced to “You Are The Sunshine.” We enjoyed attending this lovely event and we hope our music helped to make it special!

Sciora/Paquette Wedding-Roundhouse, Beacon, NY-June 20, 2015

The exciting Sciora/Paquette wedding in Beacon, NY, began with the bridal party’s entrance to “Dog Days Are Over” by Florence, with the couple’s first dance to “Harvest Moon” by Neil Young. Father and daughter chanced to “All The Things You Are” by Ella Fitzgerald while mother and son danced to “You Are The Sunshine of My Life” by Stevie Wonder. Guests danced a polka as well as modern tunes from Pearl Jam, while the cake cutting took place to “Picture in A Frame” by Tom Waits. A special parents’ anniversary song, “And I Love You So” by Don McLean was also played. Everyone had a blast celebrating this special evening!

Saturday, May 16, 2015—Lighthouse, Chelsea Piers, New York—Coppola/King Wedding

The Coppolas and the Kings gathered together for an evening of non-stop music at the celebration of the joining of their two families at Pier 61 of Chelsea Piers of the West Side Highway in New York.   This lovely wedding, held in a historic location filled with old New York atmosphere, included a cocktail hour followed by a European-style wedding with hours of dancing after dinner!  Our musicians played and sang non-stop, beginning with the couple’s first dance song, “You’re All I Need To Get By” by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.   Father and daughter then danced to “Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World,” a combination of two great favorites by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole.  The mother/son dance took place to “Moon River” by Andy Williams, while the rest of the guests enjoyed grooving to “Mack the Knife” by Bobby Darin.  Hooray for old New York and its fantastic musical history!  Around Town Entertainment was pleased to be a part of this wedding that was a quintessential New York gala.  Congratulations to the happy couple!

Saturday, May 16, 2015—Woodway Beach Club, Stamford, CT—Ryan/Mengel Wedding

The beautiful Woodway Country Club was the site of the Ryan and Mengel wedding in Stamford, Connecticut.  In keeping with the sophisticated and trendy style of this wedding, the event was held at the world-famous Beach Club building overlooking beautiful Long Island Sound.  The After Party Band from Around Town Entertainment was chosen as the CT wedding entertainment.  The guests enjoyed cocktails in an outside tent, while the reception was held in the building itself.  The couple’s first dance was to “Make You Feel My Love” by Adele, while father and daughter danced to “What is Life” by George Harrison.  Mother and son danced to “God Only Knows” by the Beach Boys, and the couple cut their wedding cake while the band performed “You Are The Best Thing” by Ray La Montagne.  Finally, the bride tossed the bouquet to the tune of “Single Ladies” by Beyonce.  What a magical night under the stars for everyone!  Congratulations to the new couple on their lovely
wedding.

Busy May Wedding Weekend For Around Town Band

While June is traditionally the “bridal month,” many couples are marrying in May to avoid the seasonal rush and still enjoy the beautiful weather that abounds this time of year.  Around Town Entertainment has been busy with weddings through the beginning of May, each of which represented a different style and all of which were absolutely stunning!

Saturday, May 2, 2015—Klein/Kelly Wedding in Jersey City, NJ—Around Town Band

The month of May kicked off with the Klein/Kelly wedding in Jersey City at the Hyatt Regency.  The bridal couple chose “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke for their party’s entrance song, with “I Gotta Feelin” by the Black Eyed Peas for the couple’s entrance.  Despite the uptown beat of their entrance, the new couple’s first dance was performed to “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” a beautiful and traditional slow ballad originally performed by Elvis Presley.  Father and daughter danced to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” while mother and son danced to “When I Need You.”  The entire party grooved through the evening to great music including “Everything in Between,” a song especially written by the bride for the groom!  Other great musical selections included “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk the Moon, “The Club Can’t Even Handle Me Right Now,” by Flo Rida, and “Fly Me To the Moon” by Frank Sinatra.  Everyone had a great time and danced the night away to fantastic music!

Saturday, May 2, 2015—Park/Rabinovici Wedding—Westbrook, CT—After Party Band

The After Party Band stepped up for the Park/Rabinovici Wedding held at the Water’s Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook Connecticut, bringing
an incredible fusion of jazz and other elements to this sophisticated gathering.  The bridal party entered to “Raise Your Glass” by Pink, while the bride and groom entered to “Fireworks” by Katy Perry.  Their first dance was performed to “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran, with the parents dancing to “Let it Be Me” by Ray La Montagne.  The Hora was performed to “Simon Tov,” “Havenu Shalom” and “Hava Negilah,” and the couple performed the cake cutting to “By Your Side” by Sade.  The wedding guests all agreed that the music beautifully reflected the eclectic and polished class of this event!

Sunday, May 3, 2015—Mauceri/MacFarlane Wedding—Roslyn Heights, NY

The Royalton at Roslyn Country Club was the setting for the beautiful Mauceri/MacFarlane wedding on May 3,
featuring an elegant garden ceremony with “Caledonia,” an Irish-inspired Dougie MacLean number and a bridal processional of “Canon in D” by Pachelbel.  After the ceremony, the party recessed to “You Are The Best Thing” by Ray La Montagne to a cocktail reception followed by the dinner/dance.  The bride and groom entered to “Best Day of My Life” by American Authors, with their first dance to “And I Love Her” by Passenger performed in both acoustic and with vocals.  The father/daughter dance was performed to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland, while mother and son danced to “Have I Told You Lately” by Rod Stewart.  During the cake cutting, the band played Billy Joel’s “Just The Way You Are.”  Additional songs included a vibrant mix with “Moralito” by Carlos Vives, “Vivo Per Lei” by Andrea Bocelli, “Don’t Stop The Party” by Pitbull, “Uptown Funk” and “Conti Partiro” sung in Italian.

Three more November weddings with Around Town Entertainment!

Saturday, November 15, 2014 was the wedding of Matthew Snyder and Megan Foley. The event took place at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel in Scranton, PA 18503.
The couple chose the New York and New Jersey wedding Band, Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment.
The evening began with sounds of a sophisticated jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment for the cocktail hour.
Then the party began! First the bridal party made a grand entrance to the song, “Dynamite” by Taio Cruz, followed by the bride and groom’s entrance to the song “Marry You” by Bruno Mars.
The couple took their first dance to their song “God Bless The Broken Road” by The Rascall Flats.
The guests danced the entire night as the band played on!
In the midst of the celebration, the bride and groom had their parent dances with their chosen songs, “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King, and “Can’t Smile Without You” by Barry Manilow.
The guests enjoyed the amazing dance sets with the couple’s additional requests songs, including “Stay With Me” by Sam Smith, “Wagon Wheel” by Darius Rucker, “Chicken Fried” by the Zac Brown Band, and
Wake Me Up” by Avicii. “Love On Top” by Beyonce was also a big hit!
What an amazing wedding event with  wedding entertainment!

November 22, 2015 was the wedding of Rachel Pellman and Scott Wadler.
The beautiful Temple Beth Sholom located in Roslyn Heights, NY was the location for this wedding event.
The couple’s entertainment choice was the New York wedding band, The Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment.
After a spirited cocktail hour with the New York wedding cocktail music by Around Town Entertainment, the guests participated in the couple’s beautiful ceremony.
Ceremony songs such as “Erev Shel Shoshanim,” “La Vie En Rose” Edith Piaf
and “Simon Tov” warmed the room.
The guests were then led into the bride’s disco themed event!
The Jewish traditional Hora still had it’s time to shine, but then the crowd danced as the disco ball lit the room!
The bride and groom’s unique wedding song “Sure Thing” by Miguel was performed by the NY wedding band as well!
The bride and groom and their guests are still raving about the music!

Sunday, November 23, 2014 was the wedding of Jodi Butterman to Jonathan Sigal. The Battery Gardens Restaurant located at 1 Battery Place, New York, NY was the chosen wedding venue.
The New York City wedding band, Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment was selected as the entertainment.
The bride and groom had a stunning ceremony as the pianist from Around Town Entertainment
For the couple’s processional they chose “A River Flows In You” by Yiruma. The bride chose the traditional “Canon in D” as her ceremony song.
As she met and circle’s the groom, the song “Jerusalem of Gold” played.
During the ceremony each guests put flowers on the Chuppah as the song “Love Me” by Yiruma set the mood.
Then for the recessional, there were two songs, “Simon Tov” and “Love Will keep Us Together” Captain and Tennile as the guests moved downstairs to the cocktail hour.
The jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment serenaded the guests as they enjoyed cocktails.
The guests then returned upstairs for an elegant night of dinner and dancing. The bride and groom were introduced to “Just The Way You Are” by Bruno Mars and went right into their first dance “How Deep Is Your Love” by the Bee Gees. The NYC wedding band played all of the couple’s favorite requested songs, including “All of Me” by John Legend, “The Candy Man” Sammy Davis Jr., “Tie A Yellow Ribbon” by Tony Orlando, “Bad Bad Leroy Brown” Jim Croce and “I Only Wanna Be With You” Dusty Springfield.
The New York City view was stunning as the guests danced the night away!

Three amazing weddings with Around Town Entertainment! November 8, 2014 weekend

November 8, 2014 was the wedding of Laura Tubbs and Devin Maher
The event took place at the India House Club located at 1 Hanover Square, New York City.
The couple chose the Around Town Band as their New York wedding music.
What an amazing evening it was!
First the guests enjoyed dinner and toasts as the trio from Around Town Entertainment set the mood.
Then it was dancing all the way!
First the band introduced the bridal party with the song “Rather Be” Clean Bandit and the bride and groom to “This Will Be an Everlasting Love” Natalie Cole. The couple chose “The Way you Look Tonight” Sinatra as their official first dance. For their special wedding parent dance songs, they selected “My Girl” Temptations and “How Sweet It is” James Taylor.
The dance floor was packed for a true dance party wedding celebration.
The band played the specially requested songs, “Chicken Fried” Zac Brown,
“Higher Love” Steve Winwood, “Africa” Toto and “Born In the USA” Bruce Springstein. In addition, the band played a true mix of current top 40 hits and wedding classic songs. The crowd screamed for more music when the night ended, and the NYC wedding band was thrilled to oblige!

November 8, 2014 was also the wedding of Lee Anderson to Britney Lasater.
The event took place at the Manhattan Penthouse, located at 80 5th Avenue in New York City.
The couple chose After Party Band from Around Town Entertainment as their NYC wedding music. The evening began with a beautiful ceremony.
The wedding ceremony music was played by Around Town Entertainment.
Ceremony songs selected were “Cant Help Falling In Love” Elvis, “Dream A Little Dream” Mamas and The Papas, and “This Will Be” Natalie Cole.
The guests then enjoyed sophisticated cocktail music played by Around Town Entertainment’s jazz trio.
The dinner and dancing could not have been any more perfect!
The bride and groom set off the dance party with their chosen song “Signed Sealed and Delivered” Stevie Wonder. “These Arms of Mine” by Otis Redding was their wedding first dance song.
The crowd danced the night away in style at the extraordinary New York City wedding!

November 9, 2014 was the wedding of Morgan Searle and Robert McCue.
The couple chose the beautiful Liberty House located in Liberty State Park, Jersey City, New Jersey.
The NJ Wedding Band, Around Town Band was the chosen wedding entertainment.
The afternoon event began with a beautiful outdoor ceremony.
The guests were treated to perfect weather and the perfect wedding songs as the bride and groom said their vows.
They enjoyed outdoor cocktails to the sounds of jazz in the air.
The guests then moved indoors and welcomed the bridal party to the chosen song, “Happy” Pharrell. The bride and groom’s first dance song was “Fly Me To The Moon” Sinatra. Their selected wedding parent dance songs were “The Way you Look Tonight” Sinatra and “Close To You” Stevie Ray Vaughen. “Forever Young” Rod Stewart and “I’m Yours” Jason Mraz were the couple’s chosen wedding songs.

Saturday, November 1, 2014 was the highly anticipated annual event for the Golden’s Bridge Hound Fundraising Gala.
The event was held at the Salem Golf Club, in North Salem.
The chosen New York entertainment was the Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment.
The evening began with a silent auction as the jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment set the mood for the festivities.
Then the guests enjoyed a full night of dinner and dancing!
It was a spectacular and glamorous crowd that loved to dance.
What an amazing New York event!

Saturday, November 1, 2014 was an amazing wedding at a secluded and very private club in Orange County, New York. The After Party Bandfrom Around Town Entertainment was the selected wedding entertainment for this unusual hush hush event.

November 2, 2014 was the wedding of Michael Kinitsky and Rikki Sedaka.
The wedding was celebrated at the Inn at Pocono Manor in Pocono Manor PA.
The couple chose the New York and New Jersey favorite, Around Town Entertainment! They selected the A-List Band.
After a beautiful ceremony with wedding ceremony music such as “Beauty and The Beast,” “A Dream Is A Wish,” and “I’m Yours” Jason Mraz the guests
enjoyed an hour of cocktails as the jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment played on.
The exciting reception began with the bride and groom grand entrance. The song “Good Life” One Republic has the perfect title for this couple! They set off an event that made all their guests feel very much part of a perfect life!

As the couple took their first Dance to “I Choose You” Sara Bareilles the guests cheered as the couple performed their special dance routine.
Later the parent dances ensued with the songs, “Just The Way You Are” Bruno Mars and “My Wish” Rascal Flatts.
Other crowd favorites were “Sing” Ed Sheeran, “Happy” Pharrell, and “Build Me Up Buttercup” The Foundations.
The New York wedding band was thrilled to be part of such a wonderful celebration.

Last weekend of October ended with a bang! Five stunning wedding!

Around Town Entertainment had a great last weekend of October, 2014!
With five stunning weddings, the New York City wedding entertainment company, Around Town Entertainment had a very exciting weekend!

October 25, 2014 was the wedding of Joseph Parisi and Steven Seminelli.
The couple chose the beautiful Philadelphia wedding venue, The Loews Philadelphia Hotel. The Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment was the selected New York wedding band.

The guests first enjoyed a cocktail hour on the 33rd floor where the panoramic views of the city were mesmerizing. The trio from Around Town Entertainment played a cool selection of Broadway and jazz favorites.

The guests then joined the 9 piece band in the main ballroom for an extraordinary night of dinner and dancing.
For the grooms’wedding entrance song, they chose “Everything” by Michael Buble. They had their first Dance to the beautiful song, “One and Only” by Adel. The band learned an Italian favorite, “Vivo Per Lei” Andrea Bocceli and Laura Pausina for the special mother son dance.
The other special wedding mother son dance was “I’ll Always Love My Mama” by the Intruders. The guests enjoyed a traditional Tarantella and some other Italian classics, such as “Volare” Dean Martin and “Mambo Italiano” Dean Martin. The band played some favorite Broadway songs during the dinner including “Falling Slowly” from Once. The last song of the evening was “Never Can Say Goodbye” Jackson 5.
What an amazing wedding night for the perfect couple!

October 25, 2014 was also the wedding of Erin McKinney and Robert Curran. The couple chose the Connecticut wedding venue, Candlelight Farms in New Milford, Ct.
The night began with a beautiful ceremony.
The bridal party processional music chosen was “Home” by Philip Phillips and hte acoustic version of “We Found Love” Rhianna.
For the bride’s processional song, she chose, “Lego House” by Ed Sheeran For the recessional the guests enjoyed “All I Want Is You” by U2 as they congratulated the newleyweds.
The couple’s first dance wedding song was “True Companion” by Marc Cohn.
The wedding parent dance songs selected were “Stand By Me” Ben E King and “A Mother’s song” by T. Carter music.
The bride and groom also requested a family dance song for all the special people in their life and “I Hope You Dance” by LeAnn Womack was the perfect song!
Other requested songs were “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston, “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner and “Wagon Wheel” by Darius Rucker. A great night of Ct. wedding music for this special celebration.

October 25, 2014 was also the wedding of Sarah Harper and Kieran Smith.
The event took place at the New York City Wedding venue, The New York Athletic Club located at 180 Central Park South, New York, NY.
The A-List Band from Around Town Entertainment was the chosen New York City Wedding music.
The jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment started the night off with the perfect sophisticated cocktail music.
Then the guests moved into the main hall for their reception.
First the band introduced the bridal party into the room as they played “Hooked On A Feeling” by Blue Swede. For the bride and groom wedding entrance song, the band played “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen
For the couple’s wedding first dance they chose “Thank You” Chris Cornell Version of Led Zeplin. The bride’s uncle joined the band and sang “What A Wonderful World” Louis Armstrong as the bride danced with her father, for the wedding father daughter dance. The chosen wedding mother son dance song was “Simple Man” by Shinedown. The band also prepared a special cake cutting song “Green Eyes” by Cold Play and “Wonder of You” by Elvis, one of the bride and groom’s favorites.

October 25, 2014 was also the wedding of Joanna Tarasewicz and Neil McNulty. The New Jersey wedding venue chosen, was the beautiful Stone House at Sterling Ridge in Warren, NJ
The couple chose Around Town Entertainment’s newest New Jersey wedding band, The At Midnight Band.

The guests first enjoyed the wedding cocktail music, a jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment.
Then the guests cheered as the bridal party was introduced with the song “One More Time” Daft Punk. The bride and groom wedding entrance song was “My First, My Last, My Everything” Barry White.
The First Dance song was “No One’s Gonna Love You” by Band Of Horses. The bride and groom requested that the first uptempo song of the night be “Old Time Rock and Roll” by Bob Seger.
The chosen wedding parent dance songs were “Father Daughter” Paul Simon and “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd. The band also performed the special cake cutting song, “You’re My Best Friend” by Queen.
The crowd favorite was “Shout” Isley Brothers.
The guests danced the night away with the New Jersey wedding entertainment.

October 26, 2014 was the wedding of Lindsay Cammarata and Jarred Blumer.
The New York wedding venue chosen was the Woodbury Jewish Center in Woodbury, NY.
The guests first enjoyed a cocktail hour with the jazz duo from Around Town Entertainment. Then it was time for the beautiful ceremony!
The piano and guitar duo prepared the selected Processional song “Conquest of Paradise” by Vangelis. For the recessionaL the selected song was “Od Yishama.”
The afternoon reception began by the grand bridal party entrance with the chosen song “Party Rock” by LMFAO. The bride and groom entrance song was “Beautiful Day” by U2. For the couple’s first dance, they chose “Amazed” by Lonestar. The wedding father and daughter dance song was “I Loved Her First” by Heartland. The wedding mother and son dance song was “You Are the Love Of My Life”by Carly Simon.
The guests then enjoyed a traditional Hora.
The band performed the couple’s chosen wedding cake cutting song, “Ho Hey” by the Lumineers, and the bride’s bouquet toss song, “Glamorous Life” by Fergie. The bride and groom’s other favorite songs performed were “Give Me Everything” by Pitbull and NEYO and the Spanish song, “Suavemente.”

Saturday, October 18, 2014, was the wedding of Sheryn Hajtler and Warren Sackman.  The wedding was held at the Hamlet Golf and Country Club in Commack, NY.  The couple chose the NY wedding band, The Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment.
It was an extraordinary night of dinner and dancing!
The bride and groom chose “Ho Hey” by the Lumineers as their wedding introduction song. They had the perfect first dance moment as their song “Then” by Brad Paisley was performed.
The bride and groom chose “Wonderful tonight” by Eric Clapton, “My Wish” by Rascall Flatts” and “In My Life” Beatles as the parent tribute songs.
The NY wedding band played “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat for the cake cutting moment. The crowd exploded into dance as the couple’s favorite songs “Moves like Jagger” by Maroon 5, “I wanna dance with somebody” by Whitney Houston and “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner played.
The Around Town Band was thrilled to be part of the wedding!

Saturday October 18, 2014 was also the wedding of Lauren Blake and Mike Marinelli. Trump National Golf Club Philadelphia in Pine Hill, NJ was the
beautiful wedding venue chosen.
The couple chose the After Party Band from Around Town Entertainment as their NJ wedding band.

The day began with a touching ceremony. The NJ ceremony music performed by the Around Town Entertainment’s pianist, with chosen songs, “Unchained Melody” Righteous brothers, “Here comes The Bride,” “Make You Feel My Love” and the “Wedding March”
The guests then enjoyed cocktails as the trio from Around Town Entertainment created the perfect atmosphere.
The guests moved to the main reception and that is where the party began! The couple chose “Timber” Kesha as the wedding bridal party introduction song and then “Klingande” by Jubel for their grand entrance.
Their first Dance was “As You Are” by Mishka, and their parent dances were “Cinderella” by Stevin Curtis Chapman and “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts-
The guests truly enjoyed the song prepared by the NJ wedding band, “You Are The Best Thing” Ray La Montagne and “Latch” by Sam Smith.
It was an amazing night of NJ wedding music!

October 18 was also the wedding of Sara Gerstein and Dayne Fiorello.
The wedding event took place at the East Wind Inn and Spa in Wading River, NY. The bride and groom chose the A-List Band from Around Town Entertainment as their New York Wedding Entertainment
The couple had a charming ceremony and then the guests moved into a sophisticated cocktail hour, as the music from Around Town Entertainment performed.
The excited guests cheered as the the bridal party entered the reception.
The song “You’re the Best Around” Joe Esposito welcomed them in. The bride and groom came in with “Crazy In Love” by Beyonce and JayZ.
For the bride and groom first dance the NY wedding band played “Sara Smile” by Hall and Oats. The parent dance chosen was “You’ve got a Friend” James Taylor. After an jubilant Hora, the guests danced the nights away with songs like “Five Foot Two Eyes of Blue” “Spin Me Right Round” Dead or Alive, “Conga” Gloria Estefan and “All Night Long” Lionel Richie.

October 19, 2014 was the wedding of Jonathan Rifenburg and Lisa Bain.
The wedding venue chosen was the stunning venue called The Garrison located at 2015 US 9, Garrison, NY.
The bride and groom chose the Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment to perform their New York wedding music.
The ceremony musician from Around Town Entertainment performed
“Heartbeats” Jose Gonzalez for the processional and “I’ll Back you Up” Dave Matthews band for the groom’s entrance.
The stunning bride walked to the classic wedding song, “Canon In D.”
The recessional song was “In Your Eyes” by Peter Gabriel
The guests moved indoors to enjoy a lovely cocktail hour and then prepared for a night of dinner and dancing in the main room.
For the bridal party enntrance, the couple chose “Everlasting Love” Carl Carlton. As the bride and groom’s entrance song, the NY wedding band played “You’re My Best Friend” by Queen. Then they took their official first dance to “Nothing Can Change This Love” by Sam Cooke.
The band prepared the special requested wedding parent dance songs, “Long May You Run” Neil young and “93 Million Miles” by Jason Mraz
The guests enjoyed the classic hits and really livened up as the NY wedding band played today’s top hits!

Sunday, October 19, 2014 was also the wedding of Elizabeth Duberstein and Steven Weiss . The couple chose the After Party Band from Around Town Entertainment as their New Jersey wedding band.
The wedding began with the classic Jewish ceremony music, “Dodi Li”
“sunrise Sunset” and “Simon Tov.”
The guests cheered as the couple exchanged their vows and then enjoyed a cocktail hour with the jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment.
The reception was set off as the NJ wedding band played “Crazy in Love” by Beyonce and Jayz to welcome in the bridal party. The couple also chose, “Bring Em Out” by T.I. as their wedding introduction song.
The bride and groom had their wedding first dance to “How Long Will I Love You” by Ellie Goulding. For the parent dances, they chose “My Girl” by The Temptations and “You Are The Sunshine Of My Life” by Stevie wonder. The guests enjoyed a traditional Hora and also enjoyed a night with the couple’s favorite chosen songs, including “You’re the One That I Want” from Grease, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper, “Cupid Shuffle” by Cupid, “Be My Baby” by the Ronettes, “Runaround Sue” by Dion and “Why Do Fools Fall in Love” Frankie Lymon.

October 11 weekend with Around Town Entertainment

Saturday, October 11, 2014 was the wedding of Ashley Libero and Michael Abate. The event was held at the Connecticut wedding venue, The Marquee Ballroom located at 960 Main Street, Hartford, Ct 06103.
The couple chose the Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment as theirConnecticut wedding entertainment.

The guests enjoyed a lovely cocktail reception on the mezzanine in the Atrium, as the jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment performed.

The bride and groom and their bridal party then made a grand entrance into the Atrium as the Ct wedding band, the Around Town Band welcomed them in!
For the bridal party introduction song, the bride and groom chose “Fancy” Iggy Azalea. For the Bride and Groom introduction song, they chose “Honeybee” by Blake Shelton.
The official wedding first dance song was “The Greatest Story Ever Told” by Oliver James.
The guests then moved into the main ballroom for a sit down dinner and more with the Connecticut wedding music in that room.
The Around Town Band serenaded the guests during dinner and then reset in the Atrium one more time for a high energy dance party!
Formalities included the wedding parent dance songs “I Loved Her First” Heartland and “From Here To The Moon and Back” Dolly Parton.
Guests danced to some of the couple’s favorites including “Wiggle” Jason Derulo, and “Fireball” by Pitbull.
It was a smash Connecticut wedding event with the CT wedding music and entertainment by Around Town Entertainment.

Saturday, October 11, 2014 was also the wedding of Amy Trooskin and Andrew Levy. The New York wedding venue chosen was the Navy Beach Restaurant located at 16 Navy Road, Montauk, NY 11954.
The wedding couple chose After Party Band from Around Town Entertainment as their New York wedding band.
The event began with a beautiful ceremony. The pianist from Around Town Entertainment performed the chosen wedding ceremony songs “Hallelujah” Jeff Buckley for the processional, “Falling slowly” for the bride’s processional song and then “Use Somebody” Vitamin String quartet style.

The guests moved into the cocktail hour for an hour of sophisticated cocktail music by Around Town Entertainment’s jazz trio.

Then the party began! The New York wedding band began with the couple’s first Dance wedding song, “Crazy Love” Van Morrison.
They also prepared the special chosen wedding parent dance songs, “When You Need Me” Bruce Springstein and “Days Like This” Van Morrison.
After a traditional Hora, the guests rocked out to the songs “Rather Be” Clean Bandit, “Up Up and Away” Kid Cudi and “Take You Higher” Goodwill and Hook n Sling.
