(Ok fine, the season isn’t officially named “Brr” but trust us, Lake George between November and March can be very simply summed up as “Brr.”) The peak season for any lakefront venue will be during July & August which command higher budgets due to significantly higher demand. One of the advantages of the Chateau on the Lake is its privacy and intimacy. The venue is not large and is situated down a lane, away from the main town of Bolton Landing, allowing for uninhibited access to the lake, as well as the ability to really feel as though the venue, and you and your guests are in a world of your own. That said, this venue may not be ideal for couples with guest lists clearing 150 due to its cozier size; but for those couples searching for a smaller wedding, for whom intimacy and privacy are advantages?
