It Only Takes a Second to Fall in Love

It Only Takes a Second to Fall in Love

February 22, 2020 was the night it all began.   It was the night that Lauren and John got married and became Mr. and Mrs. Kahn.  The couple chose to have their ceremony and their full reception at the New York City venue SECOND NYC located at 849 Sixth Avenue in Manhattan.

The celebration was designed with music and love as the theme.  The event planning company, The Day Of Company along with Julie from SECOND NYC helped bring the couple’s vision to life.

The music and entertainment were all provided by the New York City wedding music and entertainment company, Around Town Entertainment.  The ceremony music, the cocktail music and the New York City wedding band music was custom designed for this very special couple.

The couple chose the exact music they loved for their most important ceremony moments and their vows.

The intimate ceremony began with the most beautiful songs.  The bridal party walked in with the song “La Vie En Rose” by Edith Piaf.  The stunning bride selected the classic song “Can’t Help Falling In Love.”  The soft and delicate piano version by Around Town Entertainment created the warm emotion as the groom set eyes on his beautiful bride.   After the couple exchanged vows and were officially husband and wife, the room exploded in applause as the song “I’m A Believer” from the Monkeys played in the background.

The guests joined the bride and groom and enjoyed cocktails and great conversation on the terrace as the classic jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment created that perfect mix of sophistication and elegance.

As the guests were escorted to the main reception, the Altitude Band from Around Town Entertainment was playing lively songs for the entrance.  The full band had the guests excited for what was to come.  The bride and groom and their immediate friends and family were officially introduced into the reception as the band played the couple’s edgy song “Sexy and I Know It” by LMFAO and “Right Round” by Pitbull.   The bride and groom had their official first dance.   They went all the way classic with the Bobby Darin song “Beyond the Sea.”  The bride also had a very special dance with her dad.  They chose the song “Vienna” by Billy Joel.

The rest was history.  It was a night of dancing, music and celebration as the guests danced to the continuous dance music played by the live band.   The couple also requested a couple added songs such as “Sucker” by Jonas Brothers and “Blame It on The Boogie” by Jackson 5.  Of course, the band was excited to oblige and performed these songs as they couple cheered with delight.

It was a night that Mr. .and Mrs. Kahn, their family and friends will never forget.  Around Town Entertainment will also never forget the honor of being part of this beautiful celebration.   For more info about the Altitude Band and the other Around Town Entertainment bands, view live and unedited videos of each band at www.aroundtownent.com

Escape to Cedar Lakes Estate

Tarek was at Ward 3 in TriBeCa for a birthday party. Kaitlyn was perched up at the bar in conversation with friends, laughing extremely loud at a funny remark.

Little did Kaitlyn know, Tarek had spotted her from across the room earlier in the night, and was trying to find the perfect opportunity to talk to the “beautiful blonde sitting at the bar.”  Tarek went right up to the bar next to Kaitlyn and with great courage said, “What’s so funny” as his opening line.   The two instantly connected from the start, as if they had known each other all their lives.

After teasing Kaitlyn multiple times throughout the night for her many (unintentionally) funny remarks, Tarek let Kaitlyn know he’d like to see her again.  She instantly replied, “SURE I’ll give you my number!” and the rest is history.

They invited us to perform at their wedding on June 22, 2019 at the Cedar Lakes Estate and we couldn’t be anymore delighted! The wedding ceremony was held at The Mountain Top, a grass clearing peppered with wild flowers and endless views of the Shawangunk Mountains. The newly restored 85-year old deck overlooks the sparkling lake. Amphitheater style benches face the deck, nestled under a cluster of tall wispy pines also set the perfect backdrop to the lovely day as a pianist provided by Around Town Entertainment played songs like “All Of Me” by John Legend, “Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay, and “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls while by the Bride and Groom exchanged vows.

For cocktail hour, they utilized the open air Pavilion, a room with elegant blue stone floors, twinkling bistro lights, an oversized stone fire pit in the center, and permanent outdoor heating. The Pavilion also had a Poolside Patio and infinity-style pool overlooking the lake for breathtaking views while guests sipped on their specialty cocktail while Around Town Entertainment’s jazz trio played for a hour!

The wedding reception was held in a fully restored and temperature controlled 5,400 square foot barn! The barnwood walls juxtapose the modern floor-to-ceiling glass panels, striking just the right balance in this beautiful, expansive space that overlooks the grand lakes. Crystal chandeliers hang from the ceilings, accenting the candlelit dinners setting the mood for the evening.

For dinner, we tasted an assortment of dish selections in the Chef’s Garden. The garden had a lot of charm with its white picket fence and twinkling lights. We sat in a 50-person farm table on a reclaimed brick patio in the center of the garden for a truly farm-to-table experience under the stars inside this expansive 4,000 square foot wonderland!

After dinner, Around Town Entertainment’s Authority Band performed a very special set for the guests all night long. There were no noise restrictions so it was easy to play as long we liked! The wedding band’s set included songs from artists like Bruno Mars, Whitney Houston, LMFAO, Cee Lo Green, Usher, and Rihanna to keep the guests dancing the whole night!

This was another successful wedding by Around Town Entertainment. Around Town Entertainment is proud to have been chosen as the best NY wedding band, NJ wedding band, and CT wedding band in 2020.

A Night at The Colony Club 150 150 adam Michaels

A Night at The Colony Club

A Night at The Colony Club

When Bill Wiley and Sarah Crawley married at The Colony Club in New York on December 7, 2019, they told us how they met and it was one of the cutest little stories we had heard!

Bill got Sarah’s phone number wrong in his ever-so-suave fashion, and this whole thing almost never happened! Luckily enough though, Bill got held up leaving the bar and before he got into a taxi realized Sarah hadn’t texted him back. Thanks to a little liquid courage, Bill went back into the bar to find Sarah to make sure she received the text, which is when he realized he typed her number in wrong! With a correct phone number in hand this time around, Bill re-sent his witty, yet personable magnum opus text message, “Hi it’s dill.” The rest is history.

They also picked the cutest place for their reception! We had such a great time performing at this classic New York wedding venue.  These two and their entire guest list were on the floor the entire night with such high energy dancing! The venue did an amazing job creating an intimate and classic black tie affair while Around Town Band provided by Around Town Entertainment kept the party going all night! It was a night full of energy, laughter, and love!

New York has a long tradition of private clubs that are designed to keep outsiders at bay. Each different club may appeal more to artists, or authors, or politicians, or city planners, depending on their charters. Hone Club was the greatest dinner-giving club for upper class merchants, James Fenimore Cooper founded Bread and Cheese Club (which was  not devoted to food, but rather literary pursuits), the City Club was  described as an “anti-bad-city government club”.  All of these clubs shared one feature: they were only for men!

The only club that was created only for women in NYC is The Colony Club! What an amazing location! The Club was founded in 1903. The cocktail session was held at the Harriman Room. After that, the party continued at The Grand Ballroom where everyone partied the night away.  Best man and Maid of honor told hilarious toasts that seemed more like “roasts” and had everyone in tears from laughter. There were fun candid moments, group photo and the bride and groom dipping were some of the many highlights on the dance floor with great live music by Around Town Band as they played songs like “Come Fly with Me” and “New York, New York” by Frank Sintara and tunes from Fleetwood Mac, Van Morrison, and James Taylor. What a special night!

Around Town Band brings high energy experience to each event, with the right balance of sophistication and polish. The bands elite, talented and studied musicians have toured with some of today’s top artists. They have been featured as artists and musicians in their own right on major records and have graced some of the world’s biggest stages.

Marissa Amari & Daniel DeMola’s love story began unexpectedly as most do. While impatiently waiting for the bartender at McSwiggins to get Marissa a drink, she looked over and saw Danny at the other side of the bar also waiting. She went up to him and said “if the bartender comes to you first can you order my drink?” They spent the rest of the night throwing a couple back and getting to know each other.

A few days later Danny texted Marissa and asked her to go out for dinner at the Stewed Cow in Hoboken. After that first date they knew there was something special between them… and now they are … married!

The proposal was by far one of the most epic and breathtaking moments we have seen. Danny planned a vacation in Switzerland for October 2018. Marissa had no idea that this vacation was Danny’s plan to ask her to spend forever with him. After hiking up the Kleine Scheidegg Mountain, Danny took Marissa by the biggest surprise of her life and popped the question!

We’re so happy they picked Around Town Entertainment to play for their special day on January 11, 2020 at The Grove in New Jersey. The Grove is a truly unique and breathtaking venue for all of life’s memorable events. This was our first time playing here!

The ceremony was held at The Grove’s Historic Personette House. It is registered with the National Library of Congress and is one of the oldest homes in the country.  The space included a bespoke bridal suite, multiple fireplaces, a dining and living area, and a fully appointed kitchen. The Historic Personette House provided a beautiful backdrop for this wedding.

Around Town Entertainment supplied a pianist as the bride and groom exchanged their vows to songs like “Latch” by Disclosure and “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri. It was an amazing sight to see!

After the ceremony, the wedding band, Around Town Band, set the mood for the reception. The bride and groom took center stage in the main room. First, the NY wedding band introduced the newly married couple by playing “Now That We Found Love” by Heavy d & The Boyz and “Love Me Like You Do” by Ellie Goulding. Then they had their first dance to “Better Today” by Coffee Anderson. After that, the father danced with his daughter while the band played a mashup of “Dance with My Daughter/Let’s get it started” by Jason Blaine/Black Eyed Peas. The mother and son dance followed as the wedding band played, “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

After the dinner and toasts, the party continued on the dance floor as the band played songs like “Hey look Ma I Made it” by Panic at the Disco, “Happier” by Marshmello, and “Close to Me” by Ellie Goulding. What a night!

This was another stunning wedding by Around Town Entertainment. Around Town Entertainment is proud to have been chosen as the best NY wedding band, NJ wedding band, and CT wedding band in 2020.

Knocked it Out of the Park…SAVOY ESTATE! 150 150 adam Michaels

Knocked it Out of the Park…SAVOY ESTATE!

Knocked it Out of the Park…SAVOY ESTATE!

Ethan and Faith soon to be titled Mr. and Mrs. Geron had a smash of a wedding at the elegant Park Savoy Estate in Florham Park, New Jersey.  The couple selected the After Party Band from Around Town Entertainment to provide a night of music, celebration and dancing.

It all began after the couple exchanged their vows and said, “I Do!”  The guests were invited to begin the night with cocktails, laughter and music.  A musical trio of keyboard, bass and guitar from Around Town Entertainment delighted the guests with the bride and groom’s requested hour of Beatles hits.   What a great way to start a wedding with songs like “Here Comes The Sun” “Eleanor Rigby” and “She’s Got A Way.”

When looking for the best New Jersey wedding music a couple has to start by viewing one hundred percent live music videos on the Around Town Entertainment website.  There they can find thirty minutes of video for each of the five New York wedding bands.   Ethan and Faith fell in love with the vocalists from the After Party Band, especially the lead vocalist who authentically wailed a Whitney Houston song.    The band was the hit of the night playing continuous live music for the full reception as the guests rocked the dance floor.

It all started with the explosive bride and groom introduction into the grand ballroom.  The band played the ever so popular song, “You Make My Dreams Come True” by Hall and Oats.  The crowd really did go wild as they screamed for the newlyweds.  But we cannot forget the most intimate moments for the bride and groom that came next.   The couple had their very first dance to the unique and beautiful song “Til Kingdom Come” by Coldplay.  The bride then had a dance with her dad to the cool country song “Wagon Wheel” by Darius Rucker.   The groom danced with his mom to the song “I Love You For Sentimental Reasons” the Linda Ronstadt version.  It was a very sweet and emotion time of the evening for this beautiful couple and their parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Geron loved the classic styles and artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Abba, Billy Joel and of course the Beatles.  The NJ wedding band definitely delivered as promised on all the above.  The guests really loved these classics, and everyone cheered the band on as they performed each favorite song hit.  Whether it was the famous Bruce song, “Glory Days,” a Jersey favorite, or “Dancing Queen” or “Satisfaction,” the dance floor was always packed with an elated crowd.

Around Town Entertainment was honored and thrilled to be part of this fabulous park wedding at the elegant New Jersey wedding venue, the Park Savoy Estate.  What a thrill for us to be part of the defining moments for this bride and groom to set off and begin the rest of their lives together.  And they seemed so perfect for other.  We couldn’t be happier for them.  Around Town Entertainment www.aroundtownent.com

Love Drunk in Williamsburg 150 150 adam Michaels

Love Drunk in Williamsburg

Love Drunk in Williamsburg

On August 23, 2019, Hae Lee and Eugene Baek had their beautiful wedding ceremony held at the Brooklyn Winery in Williamsburg. Around Town Entertainment’s Around Town Band provided the music for the night. We met the cute couple back in 2016 so we were delighted to perform for their special night!

Winery weddings are classy: everyone knows that. But Brooklyn Winery is very different! Brooklyn Winery sources grapes from boutique vineyards across the country. The wines are delicious and they produce premium small batch wines, combining the quality of tradition with the freedom of innovation. This was the perfect choice for weddings since it can hold up to 100 to 165 guests and is housed in an 8,000 square foot space in Williamsburg!

Around Town Entertainment’s pianist set the tone right from the outset and showed all guests a celebration that will be an event they remember forever. The ceremony took place in one of the most stunning spots within the venue: the Atrium, an airy space that boasts a gorgeous glass roof and a hanging succulent wall garden. The pianist played “Canon in D”, “The Book of Love”  by Gavin Mikhail, “Ordinary People” by John Legend, and “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen as the couple exchanged their wedding vows and officially became newlyweds.

After that, it was time to celebrate with wine! The wines were delicious and the Brooklyn Winery produced premium small batch wines, combining the quality of tradition with the freedom of innovation. You can even tour the winery to learn about how their wines are produced!

As we explored the winery, we discovered more and more unique design elements. The building was meticulously curated to imbue a space with a warm and romantic ambience. Inside, you’ll find beautiful barn wood walls, a zinc-topped wine bar, vintage 1940’s wallpaper, midcentury fixtures, and many other one-of-a-kind details throughout. As guests drank and mingled, they were treated to a performance from Around Town Entertainment’s jazz trio.

Next, the guests moved into the The Harvest Room for the reception. It featured stainless steel tanks used for aging wine as well as a glass wall that looks into the Barrel Room. No wedding is complete without exquisite reception and this  experience!

The bride and groom strolled into The Harvest Room while Around Town Band played “Dancing in the Moonlight” by Jubel, Neimy and “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire. The newlyweds first dance was to “Perfect Duet” by Ed Sheeran ft. Beyonce.  The father danced with his son to One Call Away by Charlie Puth. The mother danced with her daughter to “La Vie En Rose” by Edith Piaf.

The wedding cuisine was handled in-house by Executive Chef Michael Gordon which was fantastic! Chef Gordon has worked at New York culinary institutions such as Bouley and the Mandarin Oriental, bringing his expertise to our seasonal selections. The elegant wedding menu focused on market-fresh ingredients that left us wanting more! There was even an interactive raw bar, specialty cocktail, wine bottle favors, and much more!

When dinner and dessert were finished, it was time to continue dancing! The wedding band Around Town Band got the energy going while guests packed the dance floor. They played numerous hits including “Senorita” and “Lost in Japan” by Shawn Medes to close out this amazing night!

This was another beautiful showcase by Around Town Entertainment. Around Town Entertainment is proud to have been chosen as the best NY wedding band, NJ wedding band, and CT wedding band in 2020. Spring Fling in Morristown

Spring Fling in Morristown
Emily and Adam’s love story began seven years ago. They met in college in Miami and on May 26, 2019, it was their time to officially become a married couple. Their reception was held in the Glynallyn Ballroom at The Madison Hotel, a perfect site for a Spring wedding. First off, the Madison Hotel is gorgeous.. think vintage victorian. The planters and decor in the Conservatory are beautiful and set a lovely atmosphere for a wedding in any season. From the moment we walked into The Madison Hotel, we knew it was a dream Spring wedding reception location!

Cocktails and Hors D’oeuvres were served in the Victorian Suite while a 3 piece jazz provided by Around Town Entertainment played in the background. Greenery opened up inside which made the event space more open and bright maintaining that Spring feeling while guests mingled with each other.

When the doors opened to the Glynallyn Ballroom, guests were transported into an extravagant 4,000-square-foot conservatory. The spacious ballroom had magnificent chandeliers emit warm ambient lighting, which added to the intimate and personal atmosphere. The conservatory also had natural light streaming in through the glass roof, transforming the space into an illuminated oasis!

Around Town Entertainment’s Altitude Band performed “Goodnight” by John Legend as Emily and Adam’s were introduced as husband and wife. The band played “Part One” by Band of Horses as they kissed and danced in the flower-filled sanctuary. Then, everyone was invited up on the floor for Hora. Next, the wedding band performed “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong while the parents took their first dance with the newlyweds.

Rod’s Steak & Seafood Grille and GK’s Red Dog Tavern provided the catering for the night. We overheard many compliments about the food from guests. Yes, they were all very delicious! As dinner finished, guests were lined up for the cake cutting as the band played “How Sweet It Is” by Marvin Gaye. The rest of the evening was spent dancing dancing under the stars to songs like “Welcome to Miami” by Will Smith, “Cupid Shuffle” by Cupid, “One Kiss” by Calvin Harris, “Pour Some Sugar on Me” by Def Leppard, “Take Me Home Tonight” by Eddie Money, “Everytime We Touch” by Cascada, “Dancing in the Moonlight” by Toploader, and  “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Justin Timberlake.

A New Years Eve Wedding Bash to Ring in 2020! 150 150 adam Michaels

A New Years Eve Wedding Bash to Ring in 2020!

A New Years Eve Wedding Bash to Ring in 2020!
What better way is there to bring in the new year, 2020 other than to have the wedding of your dreams?  Dan and Allaire, soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Rutherford knew this was the perfect plan!  The couple chose to go all out with a wedding celebration that no one could ever forget!   They chose the wedding venue, The Liberty House on Audrey Zapp Road in Jersey City, New Jersey.   This two-story event space allowed the couple to have their ceremony, cocktails and reception all in one venue.  The bride and groom chose the Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment, a New York wedding entertainment company to perform the music for all the above.   The wedding ceremony was held upstairs.  The bride chose “Your Song” by Elton John as the bridal party song and “She’s Got A Way” Billy Joel for her processional song.  The crowd cheered at the conclusion of the ceremony as the piano sounded off  “You’re My Best Friend” by Queen.

The guests were invited to enjoy cocktails downstairs.  The jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment played a cool mix of the couple’s favorite songs to entertain the guests as they mingled and geared up for the exciting dance party to come.As the guests were escorted to dinner, the full band nine-piece band welcomed the guests in with some exciting music.  The guests were immediately drawn to the dance floor as they waited in anticipation for the newlyweds to be announced into the room.    The NY wedding band played some classic wedding songs that were chosen by the couple  The oh so popular song “Can’t Get Enough Of Your Love” by Barry White was the celebration song that the band played as the bridal party and bride and groom were introduced into the main reception.  The sultry and soulful song “That’s How Strong My Love Is” by Otis Redding was the official first dance wedding song for the bride and groom.   It was specifically because of this song and the classic horns that were so prevalent in the original version of the song, that the couple chose to include the horn section as part of their live wedding band.    The song and the horns created a throw back feel reminiscent of the old New York.  And how perfect!  The open windows of this beautiful wedding space looks directly out at the New York Skyline. The bride and groom chose to each take a special dance to honor their parents.  The bride and her father danced to Stevie Wonder’s “You Are The Sunshine Of My Life.”  Everyone could clearly see the bride truly was the sunshine of her daddy’s world, so it was the perfect song.  The groom chose the classic standard  “Moon River” as the song for the dance with his mom.

The band played all the favorites the couple chose as their NY wedding music selections.   “Rosalita” by Bruce Springsteen and “1999” by Prince, and “Build Me Up Buttercup” by the Foundations were just a few of the song requests that the band played.  The band also played “Don’t Stop Believin” by Journey as the very last song of the night.  The bride and groom chose this as their perfect wedding night anthem song.  The crowd danced the entire night, celebrating the couple and celebrating the bringing in of a new year.  2020 was off to a brilliant start.

Around Town Entertainment was thrilled to be part of this amazing celebration.

An Elaborate Abigail Kirsch Wedding in Stamford, Connecticut

wedding
When a bride and groom is looking to have the best of the best, Abigail Kirsch is a name that always comes up!   Around Town Entertainment has partnered with Abigail Kirsch on some of the most elaborate New York, Connecticut and New Jersey weddings.   And on March 14, 2020 we had the pleasure of joining Abigail Kirsch at the Loading Dock in Stamford, Connecticut in creating the most spectacular wedding for our bride and groom Rachel and Christopher.Christopher and Rachel were so excited to begin their dream story together by inviting their favorite friends and family to join them on in celebration.   They were elated to have the Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment to entertain their guests throughout the evening.

The night began with a rush of excited guests who were invited to witness the couple’s sweet vows to each other.  The clients chose a beautiful solo pianist from Around Town Entertainment to play the soft inviting music as guests were being seated.  The pianist also played the ceremony songs for most intimate moments as the bridal party walked down the isle and as the bride walked to meet her future husband.

The couple selected unique songs that showed both their fun and spirited side while also bringing a touch of the wedding classic as well.  The bridal party walked in with Tom Petty’s song “Wildflowers.”  The bride chose the traditional classic wedding song, “The Bridal Chorus (Here Comes the Bride)” as she walked down the aisle beaming.   They concluded with the song from Jurassic Park!  How fun!

The guests enjoy signature cocktails and great conversation as the jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment created the perfect atmosphere.  The music flowed, the drinks flowed and the guests were delighted.  It was sophistication at it’s best.

Then it was time for the celebration to really set off.  Guests were escorted to dinner where the full seven piece Ct Wedding band from Around Town Entertainment really set the tone for what was going to be quite the dance party.   Guests couldn’t contain their excitement as they danced their way into the space.  The crowd cheered as the bride and groom and their bridal party were given the grand entrance welcome.  The band played the couple’s favorite songs for this moment.  The powerful energy of Beyonce and Miley Cyrus were in the room as the band played “Crazy In Love” and “Party In The USA.”

The guests danced from that moment until the lights came up.  It was a wild night of dancing and great music.  The bride and groom had asked the band in advance to play some of their favorite songs from their favorite artists.  Of course the band was happy to oblige.  The band prepared a very special wedding song  “I Like Me Better” by Lauv for the couple’s first official dance together as husband and wife.  The bride had a special dance with her father to the song “Walk With You” by Edwin McCain and the groom had a dance with his mom to the classic Beatles song “Hey Jude.”

It became clear that Rachel and Christopher were huge fans of the music from the 90’s.  Boy bands and Britney Spears were at the top of their list of favorites.   So the Around Town Band delivered!  The band played “Hit Me Baby,” “Bye Bye Bye,” “I Want It That Way,” and even “Wanna Be” by the Spice Girls.

There was no shortage of requests for the current top 40 hits as well.  So the band happily played the bride and groom’s favorite artists Lizzo, Camilla Cabello and Shawn Mendez.

What an amazing night it was!  It was truly an honor for Around Town Entertainment to have been chosen as the favorite Connecticut wedding entertainment in collaboration with Abigail Kirsch for this elaborate Connecticut wedding.  Take a look back at our last wedding in Connecticut!

Hot Summer in Tarrytown 150 150 adam Michaels

Hot Summer in Tarrytown

Hot Summer in Tarrytown
Vicki Reagan & Tom Youkhateh’s wedding in Summer 2019 was a scorcher! Overlooking the Hudson River in Tarrytown, New York, Around Town Entertainment had the opportunity to perform at Lyndhurst Mansion, one of America’s finest Gothic Revival mansions. Designed in 1838 by Alexander Jackson Davis, its architectural brilliance was the perfect space to hold a wedding in the summer.
The Gothic Revival Lyndhurst Mansion set the stage for an unforgettable wedding celebration. The Mansion, and its plethora of architectural angles, serves as the backdrop for our wedding band and event photography like no other. Lyndhurst’s sweeping great lawn also had tons of picturesque backdrops of the fairy-tale mansion and river views.

The grounds at Lyndhurst survive were also an outstanding example of 19th century landscape design, with the Rose Garden serving as a pristine focal point for Vicki and Tom’s ceremony.  Constructed in 1911 by Helen Miller Gould, the Rose Garden was restored by the Garden Club of Irvington on the Hudson in the 1960s and has been maintained by them ever since. In spectacular full bloom during the month of June, we were treated with antique, climbing, shrub and many varieties of hybrid roses as we walked in. It was truly a stunning location, with its original stone gazebo and abundant breathtaking roses for a spacious open air ceremony.A pianist provided by Around Town Entertainment, played “All You Need is Love” and “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles as the Bride and Groom entered the Rose Garden. Next up, the bride came out to “Thinking Out Loud”  by Ed Sheeran. The recession song was “On Top of the World” by Imagine Dragons.

On the eastside of the Mansion, overlooking the Tappan Zee Bridge and the Hudson River, the Veranda was an ideal location for the cocktail hour. As Around Town Entertainment’s jazz trio played, it felt like a setting made perfect for natural conversation, semi-enclosed, beneath the open sky.

The reception was held at the courtyard of the Carriage complex, originally constructed in the 1860s. Under a beautiful tent and surrounded by vintage cobblestone, guests were treated with a remarkable dinner and dancing. The Courtyard tent’s white-wall canvas felt as if dreams come to life. The wedding entertainment for the night, Authority Band, provided the music while guests danced in a flower-filled courtyard to songs like “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars, “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran & Beyonce, and “My Wish” by Rascal Flats.

Fairy tales do come true at Lyndhurst. This night was unforgettable and magical.  We can’t wait to perform here again and play at your biggest and best day of your life.
