Around the World

When Samantha met Matthew at a party, it was love at first sight. They have been inseparable ever since. They have been all over the world together working for San Jose State University. They loved to travel around Europe and had a lot of fun hiking, camping, and doing things they both love.

In fact, Samantha was working in the Czech Republic in the summer of 2019 for the University when Matthew decided to meet up to make it a European trip. They then flew from Prague to Munich where they took a train to Budapest. There they stayed for several days checking out the sights and having a blast in a country they both have never been to.

After that, they flew from Budapest to Paris so that they could spend three days at Disney Paris! Samantha was a huge fan of Disney and it was a dream of hers to go there since childhood. When they arrived at Disney Paris, they did everything (rides, food, parades, etc.). Matthew surprised her with an amazing dinner at a fancy, secluded 5 star restaurant. They then stayed up to watch the fireworks since they both loved them so much.

When the firework show ended, Matthew proposed to Samantha by going on one knee and holding the ring box. It was magical and awesome! From Paris they flew to Munich to spend two days in Munich before the long flight back home to California.

When they got back to California, they immediately planned their wedding. Having grown up on the other side of Bethpage Park, the couple always had an eye on the Heritage Club in Farmingdale, New York. They had family there so it made perfect sense to book their dream wedding at a venue upstate.

The Heritage Club at Bethpage stands as one of the most celebrated event venues in New York State. The venue itself is beautifully designed, and their wedding day on December 31, 2020 was absolutely perfect!

The evening started with cocktails in The Heritage Room where a jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment played classical music as friends and family arrived. Guests raved about the music wedding, describing the scene as “simply elegant.”

After that, guests moved to the Ballroom for dinner and more dancing. The Ballroom was breathtaking with floor to ceiling windows all around the room that showed the views of the golf course. The Around Town Band introduced the bride and groom by playing the hit song “December 1963 (Oh What A Night)” by Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. The couple then held their first dance while the wedding band played a cover of “The Way You Look Tonight” by Frank Sinatra. Next the father and daughter held a slow dance to “Drive” by The Cars, while the mother and son performed a special rendition of “Humble and Kind” Tim McGraw.

At midnight, the bride and groom held another special dance to “You Make My Dreams Come True” by Hall & Oates to ring in the New Year. The rest of the night  was highlighted by an assortment of old school hits from pop to rock including covers of Billy Joel, Ace of Base, Sting, The Police, Culture Club, Billy Idol, Dead Or Alive, and so much more! The venue rolled out the red carpets and the music delivered was beyond AMAZING!

Thanks to Samantha and Matthew for a wonderful start to 2021! They are the A-team!!!!

Krysten and Michael met at an event they were invited to by a mutual friend in New York City. After the event, they followed each other on Instagram and kept in contact but had no expectations of it going any further because Krysten lived in Texas and Michael resided in New York at the time. The two could no longer ignore how they felt and the two decided to enter into a long-distance relationship a year later.  After some time, Krysten was able to get transferred to NYC for work and ever since then, their chemistry has been unmatched.

The engagement proposal occurred as a second surprise gift from Michael for Krysten’s birthday. On the day of the proposal, the limo service picked up the couple and they made their way to the Midtown area of New York City. After amazing conversation over an exquisite lobster tail, salmon, and cocktails, the limo service picked them up and took them to the second location. The pair walked into the venue and blasting out the speaker was Brian McKnight’s “Back at One” with a few of their closest family members and friends in attendance. Michael was able to deliver his speech and successfully get down on one knee, and the rest was a dream come true!

After long hours of planning, Michael and Krysten chose The Highlands Country Club at Garrison, NY for their destination wedding. They also secured Around Town Entertainment’s After Party Band as the musical act for the evening! Everything was finally in place for their special moments.

From the start, the wedding took our breath away. The space had so much charm and it was the perfect venue to play in. The pianist from Around Town Entertainment took advantage of the gorgeous outdoor grounds and played an emotional set for the ceremony. Every moment from the bride walking down the aisle to the exchange of vows had a feeling full of wedding vibes like we never felt before. The venue also made guests feel properly secluded while surrounded by the rolling mountains in the Hudson Valley creating an intimate modern luxury meets old-world charm feel.

The transition to cocktail hour and then the reception was also seamless. Around Town Entertainment provided a jazz trio that played the classic standards and spirited music as guests mingled and relaxed. The views of the outdoor grounds and twinkling lights set a very romantic scene.

Krysten and Michael’s wedding reception was intimate, with 80 guests. The Main Ballroom was set up with plenty of room in the lovely lounge area with plush furniture in front of the dancefloor. The huge fireplace was a unique touch, filled with photo frames of Krysten and Michael as guests entered the building.  The guests felt encouraged to dance from the high energy music and the dance floor was always packed as the After Party Band played the bride and groom’s requests to include covers from classic artists like Rod Stewart, George Strait, and many more all night!

From the jazz trio, fireplaces, chandeliers to the beautiful bride and groom, this was a gorgeous and truly special wedding. What an amazing place to get married. Our hope is to play here again one day!

Congratulations Krysten and Michael!

Caught on Film

It was freshman year at college in New York when Dana first met Leigh. They became friends and it turned into something more several years after the two had graduated. At that time, Dana was working in retail merchandising in Manhattan and Leigh was employed at a tech company in San Jose, California. Though miles separated them, their relationship flourished. After two years and 100+ flights, Dana knew they’d be together forever when Leigh moved north to live in Brooklyn.

Though the subject of marriage didn’t come up in conversation, the 10 weddings they attended in one calendar year certainly brought it to mind. Dana felt the time was right to propose. But it wouldn’t be just a simple kneel-and-present-the-ring kind of situation.

The setting was at the San Francisco Ferry Building, one of Leigh’s favorite spots in the city and one of the most coveted tourist destinations in the world. Dana had to stage 8 “stations” across the building, each with a person from Leigh’s life there to guide her through to the next one. Right when she was dropped off at the Ferry Building, she was greeted with an embrace from one of her college roommates. From there, she was taken to other stations, where she was met by other friends, who either performed a flash-mob line-dance, painted a portrait for her, strummed a song on a guitar, posed for a picture, or recapped a poignant memory from their friendship.

Close to the final station, her mom, dad, brothers, and sister-in-law, who had also flown in for this, greeted her. That’s when she broke down. The final station was theoretically set up to be another moment she would never forget: getting proposed to!

They were married at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, N.J. The Madison Hotel is gorgeous.. think vintage victorian. So we were beyond happy when Dana and Leigh invited Around Town Entertainment to play on their special day!

The ceremony took place at The Madison Hotel’s beautiful Conservatory.  The planters and decor in the Conservatory set a lovely atmosphere for a wedding in any season. From the walk down the aisle to the exchange of vows, Around Town Entertainment created a musical journey that expressed Dana and Leigh’s individuality and transformed the exchange of vows into a moment that they will treasure forever. The pianist from Around Town Entertainment was also a stunning addition as he played a wonderful selection of emotional instrumentals perfect for the occasion all the way until the end of the ceremony!

The reception was held in the magnificent Glynallynn Ballroom. Around Town Entertainment’s Around Town Band was the main act for the evening. The stage was set inside the 4,000-square-foot Glynallynn Ballroom surrounded by magnificent chandeliers and warm ambient lighting. The wedding band set an intimate and stylish tone from the start with a cover of Bruno Mars “Treasure” as the bride and groom made their grand entrance.  Immediately everyone loved the music. Guests raved about the wedding band all night as the wedding band played a high-energy playlist for the rest of the night which included artists like Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran, and Fall Out Boy! What an absolutely exquisite wedding!

Thank you so much to Dana and Leigh! It was a truly amazing day!

A Vintage New Year’s Eve Proposal

A Vintage New Year’s Eve Proposal 150 150 adam Michaels

A Vintage New Year’s Eve Proposal

Lisa and Daniel met in a jazz ensemble at Berklee College of Music. Daniel was playing guitar and Lisa was a vocalist. A few days later they had a spontaneous hangout, and ended up staying up all night talking. Lisa was always amazed at how easy it was to talk to Daniel, and they quickly connected on so many levels.

Then, on Daniel’s birthday, they hiked up a mountain in his hometown and Daniel asked Lisa to be his girlfriend as the sun set in. So romantic! They continued dating for months until Daniel told Lisa that he wanted to do New Year’s Eve together at home. Lisa loved the idea!

What she didn’t know was that Daniel had already planned it four months in advance, and had everything right where he wanted. Over 100 people knew and somehow he managed to keep all of them from telling the big secret!

On New Year’s Eve, Lisa got off of work and rushed back home to get ready. When she arrived at home, the house was packed. She was so confused and shocked! A friend of hers escorted Lisa to a table that had a video playing of everyone she knew telling her that “something was getting ready to happen.”

Lisa then stood in front of a large television that read “Our Future.” Daniel came on screen and told her that he wanted to “make it until forever” and wanted to show her what that might look like. He then popped out, got down on one knee, and told Lisa that she would make him the happiest man in the world if she would marry him. Of course, she said “yes”, to which he signaled to his friends outside with a walkie talkie.

All of a sudden, fireworks erupted outside, so they stepped out on the balcony and saw them. A huge cheer rose up to greet Lisa and Daniel as their friends and family came up to the main room to hug and celebrate.

Lisa and Daniel married at The Stonehouse in Warren, New Jersey. Around Town Entertainment was chosen as the musical act for the evening and we were so excited to perform for them!  They had their cocktails and reception outside in The Lodge and it was the perfect setting. The cocktail hour was filled with great food and music. The jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment played music as guests enjoyed the beautifully rustic, yet urban venue. Perfect for the moment!

As guests sat down for the reception, the charming atmosphere and vibe continued.  From the music of Around Town Entertainment’s A-List band to the stunning grounds, guests were filled with smiles as they ate, drank, and danced all night! There were even amazing fire pits outside to cool off!

The music and dancing lasted far until the early morning. With years of experience, The A-List band played a wide assortment of classics and Top 40 hits while also including the bride and groom’s favorites such as  The Doors and Celine Dion.  The Lodge room remained packed as the A-List Band performed continuous high energy dance music to keep the bride and groom and their guests dancing all night.  The crowd was elated! There were a lot of new memories made. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish!

Best wishes to Lisa and Daniel!

The Love Doctor

The Love Doctor

One December morning, Christina woke up early and headed in for her last shift as an Emergency Medicine resident. She had essentially graduated residency, but was covering for a colleague who left town early for a vacation. She wasn’t on shift long when one of the nurses popped her head in the physician work room. She asked if Christina could see a patient in the hallway, so she did.

Christina went into the hallway and was met by three firefighters. The patient was Brad, one of the firefighters who had just received an IV in the ambulance. He was there just as a precaution. There didn’t seem to be any blood or wound, so Christina reassured him and collected his labs to test for infectious diseases; merely a precaution.

In the meantime, Brad seemed very chatty; he was easy to talk to. They talked briefly, but it was very memorable. Shortly after discharging Brad, they exchanged contact information numbers and were on their way.  They had a back and forth conversation on Facebook messenger.

A year later, Brad invited Christina to a screening of an independent musical in Brooklyn, New York. She didn’t know that he had actually rented the theater just for the two of them to show a 30-minute video he had created of friends and family talking about their relationship.

Just before the movie started, Brad excused himself, leaving Christina all alone when the “musical”  began. She knew something was in the works when an R rating — “for romance” — appeared on the screen. Then came the musical’s title, “The Making of Brad and Christina,” and soon after came a parade of family and friends on stage. As the final credits rolled, Brad was on stage, dropping to one knee to propose. So sweet!

They married at the impressive grounds of Oceanblue in Westhampton Beach, NY.  This was a dream destination wedding in the Hamptons so they took Around Town Entertainment along for the ride. With sandy beaches, rolling dunes, crashing waves, a picturesque jetty and unforgettable sunsets all within an arm’s reach, this was truly an unforgettable venue to perform at. The ceremony took place on the deck of the venue where Christina and Brad exchanged vows with their toes in the sand while a guitarist from Around Town Entertainment played beautiful acoustic music like “Canon in D” and “You Are The Best Thing” to match the wedding vibe.

After the ceremony, guests retreated inside for cocktails as a jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment greeted the crowd by playing elegant classical music. This was perfect while guests enjoyed the sight and sounds of the ocean, incredible hordevours, and hand-crafted cocktails.

The main reception was held inside the newly renovated Ballroom, which featured high ceilings, a crystal chandelier, and floor-to-ceiling windows. As guests entered the room, Around Town Entertainment’s 8 piece Around Town Band greeted them with a dazzling cover of “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Justin Timberlake as guests sang along loudly before heading to their seats. As the bride and groom made their first dance to “Can’t Help Falling In Love” Elvis Presley, guests poured onto the stage and filled every space on the dance floor.  The wedding band kept the energy going all night as the crowd danced hard to all the classic love song selections from Bruno Mars to Frank Sinatra. To end the night, the Around Town Band ended with an upbeat cover of “Mr. Brightside” The Killers much to the enjoyment of the crowd as they went crazy for one last dance. What a night!

Christmas at the Plaza

Christmas at the Plaza

The first time Bobby and Clare met, they fell head over heels for each other. They instantly became best friends. Through their many months together, they have traveled all the states to include California, Maine, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Florida. Because of the many adventures, it was not a surprise to Clare when Bobby planned a surprise trip to New York City as an early Christmas trip.

Upon arriving in NYC, they did all the touristy things like touring Brooklyn, watching shows in Manhattan, and taking many walks. They were amazed by the city life. On a Friday evening, Bobby had made plans for the two to go see the famous Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center near the Plaza Hotel. Clare knew nothing about the evening plans other than to get dressed up for dinner reservations and be ready to visit the tree.

That night soon became the best night of both of their lives. Bobby got down on one knee in front of the Christmas tree and asked Clare to be his wife. He had planned the entire trip for months, all centered around that perfect question and everything worked out perfectly!  It was definitely a huge life event that both of them will never forget!

A year later, they had their dream wedding at The Roundhouse in Beacon, NY. The Roundhouse was an incredible place to get married and we were thankful that Bobby and Clare invited Around Town Entertainment out to perform at the wedding in front of their friends and family.

We fell in love with The Roundhouse the moment we stepped on site. The venue is visually stunning and industrial, with a gorgeous waterfall and scenic Mt. Beacon views. The stunning, popular event space is truly where old meets new.

The day started out perfectly as a pianist from Around Town Entertainment played instrumentals of “Ave Maria” and “Canon in D” to begin the ceremony. The pianist ended with  “You are the Best Thing” Ray LaMontagne as the guests cheered and celebrated the bride and groom’s first kiss as a married couple.

After the ceremony, everyone headed outside to enjoy the beautiful night in September. Cocktail hour was a big hit as a jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment played a range of jazz selections as guests sipped on cocktails outside the legendary restored textile mill. The grounds were also breathtakingly stunning, so well-manicured, and the waterfall was the perfect backdrop for many photos!

The reception was held in a beautiful reception space with views of the waterfall outside. It had an enormous floor to ceiling windows and the most breathtaking view for guests as The Altitude Band from Around Town Entertainment took the stage. The wedding band played a cover of “You’re My Best Friend” Queen as the bride and groom made their grand entrance. They had their first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley. The father and daughter then had an emotional dance to Rod Stewart’s “Forever Young.” The son and mother held their dance to “In My Life” The Beatles.

Guests could not stop complimenting on what an amazing performance it was! The wedding band then continued to play covers of Mumford and Sons, The Killers, Backstreet Boys, and many more to end a fabulous night!

We could not have asked for a better experience that The Roundhouse provided. The bride and groom couldn’t be happier!

Congratulations Bobby and Clare!

Tis the Season

Tracey and Max were in great spirits in December, feeling the festive vibe and having plenty of family parties on the schedule. Max thought it was the perfect moment to propose to Tracey in front of family and friends. So he took advantage by popping the question with a mixture of cute gifts!

Both of them are a bit Christmas obsessed and they always got carried away with the spirit and traditions of it. Per usual, they had their Christmas Eve dinner with family and friends. Tracey was getting ready to go for Christmas Eve dinner when Max calls her over to his parents home and insists they exchange Christmas gifts.

Once at Max’s parents home, he began to hand Tracey a series of gifts with cute little notes attached. The first gift was a Make Bake Love book with the note “as you love to bake.” The second was an electric tooth-brush “to keep your perfect smile.” The third gift was a shower head filter “to keep your hair shining.” Next was a bottle of perfume “because this is how you smelled when I first met you.” Finally the last gift was a ring box with those magic words and the most beautiful ring inside “So will you marry me?” So cute! She cried and remained in that wonderful bubble of excitement and celebration for the whole of Christmas hardly able to eat, sleep or drink! What a super exciting proposal!

Tracey and Max’s wedding was at The Mill Lakeside Manor in Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey. Love was evident throughout the day with these two! Live music by a pianist from Around Town Entertainment started the day off right. The pianist filled the air with a calming instrumental rendition of “Pachelbel Canon in D” as guests took their seats for the ceremony at the outdoor patio. Surrounded by an assortment of white, gold, rose, blush, and champagne-colored florals, the bridesmaids and groomsmen were all smiles as they waited for the bride to meet the groom at the altar.

Tracey looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle as the pianist played a cover of her favorite song, “Marry Me” by Train. The wedding dress she had on was so beautiful and complimented her figure perfectly. The tuxedo that Max and his groomsmen wore also looked amazing! As Max and Tracey exchanged vows, they couldn’t take their eyes off one another without smiling and giggling. After they made their first kiss as a married couple, they left the altar in dramatic style as the pianist performed an instrumental of one of the couple’s theme song- “They Bright” by Echosmith.

Immediately following that was the cocktail hour where there were plenty more love, happiness, and good vibes. A jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment filled the air with classic background music as guests mingled and relaxed over the spacious and nice landscaped outdoor area. The landscaping outside was beautiful as guests took lots of pictures by the lake. Also, they made sure to feed the swans!

Their wedding reception was even more impressive. The couple chose Around Town Entertainment’s Authority Band as the main act for the evening. Each special dance was choreographed and was so amazing to watch! Tracey and Max entered the building as the wedding band played a cover of “Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay. Their first dance was beautifully choreographed to Mia and Sebastian’s instrumental theme “La la land.” After that, the father and daughter danced to Heartland’s “I Loved Her First.” The mother then danced with her son to “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack.

To end the night, Max and Tracey surprised their guests with another choreographed dance to a cover of “Ten Feet Tall” by Afrojack. Many of their family and friends joined in leaving the newlyweds speechless as the wedding band had the crowd dancing all night long! What a moment!! It was so much fun!

Congratulations to Max and Tracey!

The Secret Treasure

The Secret Treasure 150 150 adam Michaels

The Secret Treasure

Being a hopeful romantic, Michael had a very well thought out treasure hunt to surprise his love Alison. The weekend before Christmas, Michael arranged to meet Alison in town to give her a Christmas present. When they met he handed Alison a package of Oreos and said that it was the first clue in a treasure hunt and that her Christmas present was buried at the end of it. The first clue was printed on the inside of the Oreo, which initiated a succession of clues around the Brooklyn area. Some of which involved pulling an orange rubber ducky from a lake in Prospect Park to ascertain a clue inside. Eventually the treasure hunt ended at Domino Park at a tree where they had carved their names into when they first started dating.

When they arrived at the tree Alison saw that it was covered with fairy lights, there were white roses and candles all over the ground and music coming from somewhere and he got down on one knee. It was incredibly beautiful and emotional, and also well-timed as the sun was just setting over the trees. Now that is a well-planned hunt! Something the pair will never forget!

Michael and Alison’s wedding was an absolute dream! Everything about it was gorgeous. They had the event at the beautiful Shelburne Farms Inn in Shelburne, Vermont. The ceremony was held in the Coach Barn, a unique and timeless setting on the shores of Lake Champlain with a spectacular view of the Adirondack Mountains.

With a clear sky overhead and string lights, a pianist from Around Town Entertainment started off the day with a special performance as guests walked into the large outdoor courtyard. As guests took their seats, the pianist played John Legend “All of Me.” The bride entered through the Coach Barn’s beautiful brick arched entryway and down the aisle as a piano cover of “Here Comes the Bride” was played much to the enjoyment of family and friends. After the bride and groom exchanged their vows, the pianist performed an emotional ballad of Leon Bridges’s “Beyond.”

Next up was the Cocktail hour where everyone enjoyed drinks on the lawn while catching up with friend’s and family.  Guests also gathered around the lake at sunset to watch a guitarist from Around Town Entertainment perform. The reactions from the crowd were priceless. We loved seeing how happy they were!

The party then transitioned to the West Hall for more music and dancing.  Michael and Alison picked the Around Town Entertainment’s Around Town Band to perform at the reception and they didn’t disappoint! The wedding band got everyone on the dance floor quickly as the bride and groom entered the building to Beyoncé & Jay Z’s “Crazy in Love.”

The couple then had their first dance to David Gray’s “Sail Away” while guests joined in on the dancing afterward. Then the father and daughter held their own dance to Frank Sinatra’s “The Way You Look Tonight.” The mother/son also had an intimate moment while the wedding band played Lynard Skynard’s “Simple Man.” Truly touching moments! After toasts, the Around Town Band played high energy classic hits including covers from Queen to Nelly to keep guests dancing all night. What a way to end the night!

Made in Brooklyn

Made in Brooklyn

In April 2014, Jacqueline and Samuel took a trip to New York City from Connecticut, where they are originally from. They were spending a few days with a close friend who lived in Brooklyn.

On one particular day, Jacqueline and Samuel woke up early afternoon and headed into Williamsburg to go for lunch at one of their all-time favorite places. After lunch, they stepped out of the restaurant to go for a walk. Immediately to their right was a classic New York brownstone and a young man sitting on the steps with a guitar on his lap. Samuel slowed his steps and paused outside the building holding Jacqueline’s hand and flashing her a smile. The guitarist was playing their song “How We Know” by Sleeping Lion. It was a song they had learned together in a class and since then they’ve always considered it theirs.

When Jacqueline realized what song the guitarist was playing, her face lit up. She stood and listened but never did her mind jump to the conclusion of what might happen next. Samuel lowered himself down onto one knee with tears in his eyes. Jacqueline was in disbelief and started to cry.

A few minutes later the song ended and the guitarist stood up while Samuel introduced him as his friend. It was then it dawned on Jacqueline that he had arranged this beautiful surprise and it had all been a big secret all along. Very well played!

The rest of their time in NYC was spent planning their big day. They mutually agreed to return to Connecticut for their wedding at the New Haven Lawn Club. They chose Around Town Entertainment‘s Around Town Band as the musical act for the night making it even more special.

The day of the wedding started off properly with cocktails in the Lawn Club’s cocktail room. The room was huge and cozy while a jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment provided classic background music to start the night. The guests could not stop talking about the jazz trio, saying how great their music selection and performance was!

After that, the party moved to the Main Ballroom for dinner and dancing. The Ballroom had a timeless style and the venue was perfect for the Around Town Band to take the stage. The wedding band started off their set with a cover of “Crazy in Love” Beyonce as the bride and groom made their grand entrance. The couple then had their first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” Frank Sinatra.  Adding to the atmosphere was the touch of contemporary flair to the ballroom’s exquisite architectural details and glamorous starburst chandeliers.

After indulging in wedding cake, the newlyweds and their guests hit the dance floor. A number of guests started with their own traditional dance and then broke into a choreographed routine to songs from Britney Spears, LFO, Shakira and many more to end a fantastic evening!

Around Town Entertainment hopes to return to New Haven Lawn Club. Remembering how it felt to laugh, and cry and embrace makes this one of the most beautiful memories that Around Town Entertainment will ever be a part of!

Best wishes Jacqueline and Samuel!

Radio City Miracle

Pauline knew there was no going back after her first kiss with Thomas. The pair met through mutual family friends in college. They quickly realized while studying the same course that they were meant to be more than just friends. Within a year, their relationship blossomed and she knew he was the one.

When planning the proposal Thomas wanted it to be something special especially after a tough year for Pauline. So Thomas bought flights for Pauline for a weekend away in San Francisco as a Thanksgiving present… or so she thought!

At the airport, Thomas ripped up the plane tickets. She just looked at him with shock and said ‘Why did you do that?’ He said “We’re not going to San Francisco, we’re going to New York instead!”

It was there he planned to go to the Radio City Music Hall to propose to Pauline. Once there, Thomas took advantage of the moment, getting down on one knee, much to Pauline’s shock! They became engaged and the rest was history.

They held their wedding at the iconic Peconic Bay Yacht Club in Southold, NY. Around Town Entertainment was chosen for the live entertainment for the evening. The night started with cocktails in the upstairs room with a huge bar where guests enjoyed spectacular views and classic music from Around Town Entertainment‘s jazz trio. The cover songs the trio played was perfect background music as guests mingled and enjoyed appetizers before the main reception.

The main reception was held at the Main Floor Reception Hall. The reception room had a very unique “European” style architecture making it a perfect setting for Pauline and Thomas’s very special day! And it could have not been more perfect!

Around Town Entertainment‘s A-List Band started the music off by playing a cover of Ray LaMontagne’s You Are the Best Thing before introducing the bride and groom as an official married couple. Then the two made their first dance to the same song with help from some of their friends and family who sang along to every word. After that, the father and daughter had a dance to Lee Ann Womack’s I Hope You Dance. Immediately after was the mother and son dance to “There You’ll Be” by Faith Hill. The night continued with more fun as the A-List Band kept the crowd dancing the whole night to some of their favorite requested songs by Diana Ross, Van Morrison, Tom Petty, and so many more!

Now that they’ve settled into the routine life of husband and wife, we wish Pauline and Thomas well in their journey! We can’t wait for many more trips to Peconic Bay Yacht Club in the years ahead!
