Fall weddings in Westchester, NY are a beautiful thing! When you’re surrounded by all those wonderful colors and beautiful people, it’s impossible not to have all the feels in the world! Nicholas and Taylor recently tied the knot at the Briarcliff Manor in the most incredible way. This was certainly one celebration that no one would soon forget!

Nicholas and Taylor met at UC Davis – 10 years ago! Nicholas was well into medical school when they started planning a wedding at The Briarcliff Manor.  He graduated just before they were wed. The Briarcliff Manor was the perfect Westchester backdrop to celebrate and dance the night away to celebrate and begin their own chapter. They requested a very fun and lively playlist and Around Town Entertainment was delighted to make all their special requests a reality!  

The special day on September 20, 2020 began with the bride getting ready at her parent’s house in Briarcliff Manor, New York. As the Ceremony drew closer, Nicholas was full of nerves, but all his worries melted away when he saw Taylor smiling, walking down the aisle towards him. The wedding ceremony was set for the bride and groom to tie the knot within the cozy confines of The Briarcliff Manor, surrounded by their loving family and friends. 

Around Town Entertainment waited in anticipation to welcome the guests into the main event!  First there was a lovely cocktail hour where the guests enjoyed the beautiful main room which served as the inspirational, stunning back drop to the film “Gone With The Wind.”  

The Briarcliff Manor has beauty and grace of your classic manor of the late 1800s. From the hidden staircase to the stunning balcony, Around Town Entertainment’s jazz trio provided exciting music to lift the spirits as guests explored the venue and mingled.

The bride and groom were glowing as newlyweds and so excited to have their closest friends and family surround them on this magnificent day.  The bridal party and the parents of the bride and groom waited in anticipation for their grand entrance which was set to celebrate the bride and groom’s special day. 

We could feel Nicholas and Taylor’s romance come alive as the Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment lifted the energy in the Elegant Manor Reception Hall for the main event. The grand foyer featured a sweeping double staircase that took our breath away. The intricate French doors let in natural light, leading guests to an intimate ceremony space where the bride and groom made their grand appearance. 

The Bride and Groom were introduced into the main room to the song  “Bring Them Out” TI.   The parents were also introduced into the reception and had a special introduction as well!  They chose the song “Let’s Get It Started” By the Black Eyed Peas.  The bride and groom chose a classic, emotional song for their very first dance as husband and wife.  They chose “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley.  It was a perfect choice.  The crowd cheered as the couple had this very romantic and intimate moment.  The bride also had a very lovely dance with her father to a unique father and daughter wedding dance song entitled “Daddy’s Angel” by T. Carter.  And the groom escorted his mom to the dance floor to have their own special moment.  They danced to the song “Hero” by Mariah Carey.  The vocalist from the Around Town Band wowed the guests on this one as she hit all of the famous Mariah Carey high notes. 

As the night progressed, the wedding band played “Sugar Sugar” by the Archies for the cake cutting.  The cake was a triple-tiered work of art!  

Taylor and Nicholas gave the band a very specific list of favorite songs.  The band played their favorites to celebrate the night and the guests sang along to all the songs as many of the songs were classic anthems.  There was also a balance and rhythm between the high energy songs and the warm touching ballads that the bride and groom loved.  The guests cheered throughout the night as each song set the mood.  It was amazing! Wow!

Donald and Karly originally met through Tinder in September 2017. They did not realize right away how much they had in common, but it became quickly apparent that they were both giant nerds who both loved video games and the same music! We fell in love with them easily and quickly as soon as they asked Around Town Entertainment to play at their wedding. 

In July 2018, Donald proposed on the last night of a family cruise to Croatia. Karly is a very difficult person to surprise but he managed to pull it off! Through the engagement period, they both built a house together, which was a lot to manage while simultaneously planning a wedding. Jeff and Karly faced these challenges with all of the grace they could muster. Of course, Around Town Entertainment was there with them every step of the way to help plan the music for their special day.

Their wedding day on September 15, 2020 began with heartfelt, handwritten letters to each other, followed by tears, laughs…and eventually toasts! Then came a faux-first look of Doanld and Karly holding hands without actually see each other. Donald started tearing up the moment he felt his hand hold Karly’s. Then came the vows, the rings, the kisses and….the DANCING! 

Bride and groom wrote their own vows! They both ended their vows with the statement “I like you and I love you”, which was so cute on the day of the wedding! Even more fitting was when the pianist from Around Town Entertainment performed Best Day of My Life by American Authors during this entire moment!

After that, the celebration moved to The Grand Hall for the reception where the ambience of ballroom was magical. The views were spectacular and the drinks were flowing. Let’s not forget the Bride and Groom….looking fabulous! 

Around Town Entertainment’s Authority Band was requested to make sure the music went smoothly for the evening. The wedding band was absolutely incredible! There was plenty of room for everyone to dance and mingle while The Authority Band rocked the packed crowd with throwback songs from Prince, Rick Astley, Queen, Journey, and many more! 

The details, flowers and decorations for the wedding ceremony were just as spectacular. Awesome job bride and groom! You nailed it! With the playlist we created for the, the party was off the hook!

Taylor and Todd’s beautiful September, 12, 2020 Greenville Country Club wedding was filled with so much joy!  We cannot even begin to explain how wonderful these two are and Around Town Entertainment cherished every moment performing at their wedding day.

Taylor and Todd met way back in 7th grade English class. When they were placed in the same group for a book project, they immediately started talking, and, even though they were both shy people. That was the beginning of a friendship that lasted until they started dating about four years later.

We could just go on and on about the beauty of this couple and of all the amazing details that made their day special.  It was obvious that these two are completely adored by all who know and love them. Taylor and Todd are the SWEETEST and KINDEST people!  In addition, they have one of the best parents of all time, who did a great job at sending song requests for the wedding band to play at the main reception!  

The first time we talked with Taylor and Todd, we knew that they were both going to be an ideal couple! Hannah told us several times how much she wanted Around Town Entertainment’s “A-List Band” at her wedding. Whenever we hear that from a couple it makes us so happy because we know they value our music just as much as we do!

They decided to take advantage of the classic indoor ceremony room at Greenville Country Club which we adore!  Greenville Country Club is located in the rolling hills of Northern Delaware. The Clubhouse building situated on one of the highest points in Delaware. The building offers the perfect ambiance for Taylor and Todd’s wedding celebration!

We created a very unique mix for them which included a mix of country to rock classics.  The ceremony was stunning! The wedding pianist provided by Around Town Entertainment starting the day with a beautiful rendition of Here Comes the Bride. The bride looked breathtaking as she walked down the aisle surrounded by bouquets of a variety of flowers that made it outstanding!

One of our favorite moments from the day was the recessional out of the ceremony followed by an epic reception surrounded by all of their friends and family!  The A-List Band performed hits from Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Whitney Houston, The Weekend, and many more!

Needless to say, these guys had a blast celebrating the night away and had a grand exit making an encore pass through the crowd before they headed out for the night!

SMILE!!! That is the one word that stands out the most when I think of Devin & Josh’s wedding on September 5, 2020. The entire day, their faces were just lit up with the most infectious smiles, and it truly made for one of our happiest weddings of all time!

Devin and Josh had a vision in mind when it came to their Fall wedding at the incredible Lace Factory. While they knew the general direction they wanted things to go in, we took Devin and Josh’s vision and helped bring it to life. With the help of some crafty & creative ideas and song requests from their family members and friends, we crafted a very special wedding playlist while adding some of our personal touches into the mix as well!

Speaking with Devin and Josh before the planning process also gave Around Town Entertainment a really great idea of how incredible their wedding was going to be. Once the band was around all of their family and friends, the wedding band truly understood why they were always so happy! They certainly had us smiling (and laughing) all day long!

The wedding day was a combination of modern elegance meets vintage. Devin and Josh had had a stunning, timeless look and the day began with an intimate ceremony officiated by one of Devin and Josh’s best friends. Standing in front of a backdrop of beautifully draped chiffon panels, Devin and Josh committed to spending the rest of their lives together with the pianist from Around Town Entertainment’s pianist playing a cover of “Wonderwall” by Oasis with their friends and family in attendance.

The couple wanted to keep it super intimate, so they wrote their own vows and exchanged roses as a symbol that whenever words can’t be found or a common ground cannot be met, the rose is to be placed somewhere in the house as a sign of our promise and vow to choose and love each other every single day through the good and bad. How sweet!

After that, guests boarded the Essex Steam Train to enjoy the views on their way to the reception at the Lace Factory while the bride and groom took a car service to enjoy their first moments of newlywed bliss. 

Inside the expansive room at The Lace Factory, a blend of rustic and industrial elements created a romantic aesthetic with the help of string lights, which were strung around the exposed beams on the ceiling. The natural beauty of the space didn’t require much added decor, so to bring the room to life, Devin and Josh put small floral arrangements in used wine bottles on tables atop a round slice of wood, which featured simple greens and flowers with white petals. To find their seats, each guest had a shot glass with their name on it that was filled with sangria. “Once you found your seat, you took the shot and saved the glass,” says Devin.

After a seated dinner and cocktails, Devin and Josh had their first dance to Brad Paisley’s “Then” performed by  Around Town Entertainment’s Authority Band. And then, the wedding party had a shocking surprise in store for the newlyweds. With top hats in hand, the entire group choreographed a dance to a compilation of songs from James Taylor. 

For the rest of the evening, The Authority Band played all of their favorite songs from Brian McKnight to All American Rejects, which kept guests on the dance floor all night long. “Naturally, we couldn’t keep our hands off of each other, and we didn’t part the entire night,” said Josh. “It was arguably the best day of our lives.”

Erika and Vincent’s beautiful Oheka Castle wedding on June 14, 2019 was truly a wonderful day to be a part of! Around Town Entertainment loved every single moment of playing in this one!  This beautiful wedding venue in Long Island, NY is incredible. It’s the perfect historic venue for classic wedding days, like Erika and Vincent’s was! 

We waited for months to play at this wedding! It is one of America’s grandest castles and was a treat to play in a location with as much history as the golden age of the Roaring Twenties. And with just one wedding a day, OHEKA truly was a castle we could call our own!

With the help of the bride and groom, Around Town Entertainment planned a stunning wedding day playlist to celebrate Caroline and Jay’s very special day. With all-white florals, pale pink bridesmaid gowns, and a classic car for portraits, we seriously loved everything about this wedding! 

The day began with all of the getting ready and Erika surprised Vincent with a Rolex he wore proudly all day long. The two met for the first time at the aisle during their classic church ceremony and then headed back to Oheka Castle for portraits. This iconic property was full of perfect locations for their portraits and bridal party portraits! The classic car even fit the look of the estate perfectly!

After plenty of portraits, it was time to bring Caroline and Jay into their reception. Their black tie theme was elegant to the max! White flowers and lanterns lined the staircase of the Castle and their centerpieces mirrored the feeling as the A-List Band from Around Town Entertainment dazzled guests with star-studded hits ranging from Taylor Swift to My Chemical Romance.  

As The A-List Band played in the background, the bridal party entered to “Marry Me” by Train, while the bride and groom entered to “Beautiful Day,” by U2 and danced their first dance to “Thousand Years” by Christina Perry  Father and daughter danced to “93 Million Miles” by Jason Mraz, while mother and son danced to “All-Star” by Smash Mouth.

Guests also enjoyed dancing to Frank Sinatra, Sugar Ray, Billy Joel, and of course, Whitney Houston.  Everyone enjoyed the music, the dancing and the fun!

With their guests, Erika and Vincent danced the night away celebrating!! From start to finish the wedding band kept the vibe going and the guests were so happy! The wedding couldn’t have been any more perfect! OHEKA was a fairytale!

August 10, 2019 at in beautiful Rye, New York was definitely one for the books!  Andrea and Brian were a beautiful couple and Around Town Entertainment was very fortunate to be able to play in front of their hometown and family!  This wedding was proof that when you have the right band, an excited crowd and a great celebration, amazing things happen!

Andea and Brian met their freshman year at New York University through mutual friends, but didn’t start dating until their senior year! For the surprise proposal, Brian woke her up at 4:15am, with a bouquet of flowers and a card. The card directed her to pack a bag for a weekend at the beach and not to ask any questions “because everything was taken care of,” and off they went to Florida. That night, they went to the beach where Brian proposed and when Andrea turned around their parents were running down the beach! What a story book ending!

We absolutely loved working with Andrea and Brian! The Around Town Band made sure they got every detail planned together and we prepared all of their favorite song requests. Her natural style carried over into her wedding playlist  displaying that same class and elegance. 

Few wedding venues in all of Westchester County can boast the stunning beauty of the New York country setting.  From impeccably crafted ballrooms to floral filled grounds and magnificent expansive views, the Westchester Country Club is a very special and high end venue to perform in and to host such a lovely event.

With so many out of town guests, the couple chose Westchester Country Club for its proximity to their childhood home. The vision for their wedding was neutral and simple elegance with whites and greens, with slight touches of blues and lavenders. The custom grey wood floor, clear top tent and carefully selected linens and papers worked beautifully into that vision. Their escort card board stood with a frame of flowers and a special surprise for the bride and groom, underneath the escort cards, was a surprise painting of their dog, Lany, for them to take home. Lany also made an appearance at the wedding, to the delight of all.

The bride looked beautiful as she walked down the aisle in her stunning dress on the wedding day. Surrounded by antique silver candelabras, lush white florals, gorgeous table garlands, the pianist from Around Town Entertainment provided the live music as Andrea and Brian made their first kiss as husband and wife to “Happy” by Pharrell!

Following the ceremony, the party moved to the Westchester room for cocktails and dancing. The wedding band created an environment where the guests would enjoy their drinks in a very formal setting while classic hits were played on the outside deck by The Around Town Band. Guests didn’t stop dancing and we can’t blame them!  

After cocktails, the bridal party entered to the song “All of Me,” by John Legend. Then, bride and groom made a grand appearance as the wedding band played Rihanna’s “We Found Love.”  The couple’s first dance was to “Rockstar” by Da Baby, with the father and daughter dancing to “Lose Control” by Meduza. This was one of the cutest moments we have witnessed! They even matched each other from head to toe and both were really amazing singers!  

Other songs played later in the evening were tunes like “Something Just Like This” by The Chainsmokers, “I Like Me Better,” by Lauv, “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” by Backstreet Boys.” Everyone had a great time dancing the night away to all the hits!

The Winchester Room was the perfect place to play for all 300 on this evening. The Around Town Band did not disappoint, and the dance floor was packed the whole night. Actually, I think the only time we were sad the whole day is when they played their last song!

This crowd was a super passionate, loving and a happy crowd, and clearly knew how to bust a move on the dance flower with fabulous tunes and endless amounts of time on preparation by Around Town Entertainment.

We love talking about Perona Farms. Simply because it’s one of our favorite spots for a wedding! Around Town Entertainment had the opportunity to perform at Megan and Michael’s wedding on September 27, 2019 and it was beyond glamourous. It was a day all guests will talk about for years!

Perona Farms is a picturesque country estate venue located in Andover, New Jersey. The venue features a beautiful rustic barn and separate hall, both with their own flair. It was an absolute dream location and everything just seemed to fall into place!

Michael and Megan asked The Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment to create a unique, romantic playlist, and that we did! We featured songs from The Darkness and Florence and the Machine in their ceremony. The pianist from the Around Town Band included personal touches to reflect the bride and groom’s favorite requests and it sounded beautiful!

The sprawling estate was the perfect setting as Michael and Megan made their first kiss as guests cheered in the outdoor, lawn, patios, and even an orchard! Up next was a cocktail hour! A jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment played classic hits from Tim McGraw and Backstreet Boys, where couples savored the crisp country air. The open floor plan and high, arched ceilings were the perfect fit.  

The outdoor reception had the feeling of resembling a Spanish-inspired hacienda. It set the mood as guests gathered around the reception hall to hear the main band, Around Town Band perform a very special set for the bride and groom. The Around Town Band also provided an amazing sax and trumpet to help add to the romantic ambiance the newlyweds wanted to create. The wedding band created a unique, lighthearted ceremony, which would show the importance of our two families being joined together by their marriage. The band also performed a few songs dedicated to their few close family members/friends. 

Following the reception,  guests moved to the outdoor dance floor, which was upbeat all night long!  Personal songs were added to the long playlist as hits from Frank Sinatra and The Weekend was played by the New Jersey wedding band. The band cheered on as guests brought out their best dance moves. A perfect way to start and end a beautiful evening!

The bride and groom have been talking about the amazing day for weeks now, and that is what we exactly hoped for. This was an evening where we celebrated love with new friends. We believe our guests felt equally appreciated through the personal details we’d created with them in mind!

The Waveny House in New Canaan, Connecticut is one of East Coast’s little secrets. It’s a hidden treasure that just so happens to make the perfect wedding backdrop. 

Francesco and Andrea both fell in love in New York. It was a romantic story coming straight from the pages of a classic romance from the 80s.  It went something like this- they become friends and eventually, she gets impatient and makes a move. He just can’t say no, and they fall in love! 

They soon traveled the world together. Then, they make the big move to San Francisco and learn to live together in a 330sqft studio, but eventually make the rest of the West Coast their backyard.

When he finally proposed, she quickly uttered the words “Please don’t drop that!” They got married on September 29, 2019. They immediately reached out to Around Town Entertainment to perform for their very special day and we were very happy to say “I Do.”

The setting on this day took place at a historic mansion wedding venue. The inspiration for Francesco and Andrea’s wedding came from the pages of Vanity Fair or a Ralph Lauren ad. The venue matched the classic and elegant style that the bride and groom wanted to deliver to their very important guests. They even kept the color scheme simple based on the unique room color of the ballroom, which was turquoise, by using a simple color pallet of navy and silver accents with all whitefloral arrangements to pay homage to being by the ocean!

The wedding band was excited to play in this stunning location. The scenery was beautiful! We start in the Walled Garden, where Around Town Entertainement’s pianist performed a trio of classic throwbacks from The Beatles and Patrick Doyle as the wind breezed through the open fields and lush gardens. The interior of the mansion matched the wedding song playlist perfectly. It was very vintage-inspired, with seemingly endless picturesque areas for the guests to capture  in their memories forever.

The reception was inside and we loved how nice it looked! Very old but fit the perfect frame as a jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment played acoustic tunes from Queen and Redbone to start the party! A ton of the guests were already packing the dancefloor and we are so happy they all came out early to see the show!

The wedding band kept the dancing going inside all night long, the bar was almost running out of drinks and people needed air outside so they could breath! Wow so fun and epic! We set us some extra speakers outside so people could hear the music and get access to their next drink! Our favorite part of the evening was the celebratory cake cutting. They chose the son ”The Distance” by Cake. Very appropriate, and so fun! We can’t wait to return here for years to come!

The end of the night could not have been more beautiful. The energy of the wedding brought us love and joy! We couldn’t have asked for a better day filled with love, happiness and joy as we celebrated the union together for Francesco and Andrea as officially husband and wife.
