Unique Industrial Loft Wedding

Rosanne and Michael’s proposal story is nothing glamorous or over the top, but it’s filled with love. Rosanne got off of work one Friday afternoon and Michael and their friends met up for happy hour drinks at their favorite dive bar. They had a pizza party to attend later that night so she insisted they stay out drinking beers & cocktails until they had to go. Michael had his hands in his pocket, not sipping his drink.

They were ready to drive over to the friends’ house when Michael suggested stopping at home to pick up food & drinks. When they arrived it was pouring rain. When Michael realized that Rosanne had no interest in leaving the car to walk in the rain, he said, “Well I guess I’ll have to do this in here,” and pulled out the ring from his jacket pocket.

No getting down on one knee, no red roses, just a long speech in a Volvo station wagon about why he loved Rosanne so much, and why he wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. He had secretly designed the ring – which had a snakeskin band & diamond that belonged to Rosanne’s grandpa. How cute!

They spent all night drinking champagne, crying, ordering pizza (they never made it to the pizza party, so they had their own!), dancing, singing, calling friends and family, and celebrating! Sounded perfect!

For their wedding, Rosanne and Michael invited Around Town Entertainment to perform on their very special day. The wedding was held at the beautiful Greenpoint Loft in Brooklyn NY.  The day was perfect! The views were fantastic and guests enjoyed taking in the skyline at the outdoor ceremony area.

As guests entered the building, a pianist from Around Town Entertainment played a unique version of “In My Life” The Beatles to the joy of many. The bride walked down the aisle to “Can’t Help Falling In Love” Elvis Presley. After the bride and groom exchanged vows, they walked off to their favorite song “Rather Be” Clean Bandit.

Next, guests moved up a floor for cocktails and mingling. The views there are even more spectacular as is the space. Five stories up in the air just off the East River, guests sat back and relaxed under the wood paneling and vaulted timber while listening to jazz music from Around Town Entertainment’s trio.

Following that was a reception in the Main Hall, featuring beautiful exposed brick and original woodwork perfect for an intimate atmosphere. The bride and groom made their grand entrance as the award-winning Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment performed “Can’t Stop The Feeling” Justin Timberlake. The two had their first dance to “Fly Me To The Moon” Frank Sinatra as they glided on the original wood flooring, surrounded by high beam ceilings and open skylight windows. The mother and daughter then had their dance to “In My Daughter’s Eyes” Martina McBride. The mother and son had theirs while the wedding band played “Never Alone” Lady Antebellum. The evening continued with dinner and more dancing. The wedding band kept the party going as guests danced hard all night long as they sang a long to cover songs from Nsync, 98 Degrees, LFO, Kid Cudi, and many more! What an end to another successful night!

All the best to Rosanne and Michael!

Intimate Beach Wedding

When Jessica moved from California to Brooklyn, New York for a job promotion, she only knew one person in the entire city. She needed to find new friends, ASAP! She matched with fellow transplanted California native Jon on The League app, and the two met for margaritas.

They both hit it off instantly, sharing a positive outlook on life and a “yes” mentality. They also had similar music tastes and hobbies. By the end of dinner, it felt like they’d known each other for years. Soon, they took trips to grab wine, hike mountains, and snow-sled. They also got together regularly for dancing on ’80s night at the bars, whipping out their favorite dance moves in stunning fashion. There is never a dull moment between the two.  They’re always up for adventure and exciting new experiences!

Their most memorable date so far was their wedding. They invited Around Town Entertainment’s A-List Band to the Crescent Beach Club in Bayville, NY after hearing positive reviews from a family friend. The Crescent Beach Club is the perfect choice for a wedding day.  They picked the A-List band because of their elite talent and proven experience as musicians, playing in front of the world’s biggest stages.

The wedding day started with a pianist from Around Town Entertainment playing “Canon in D” as family and friends arrived on the private beach. The weather was perfect and guests were very happy. It almost felt like everyone was on an island!

As the palm trees and tall beach grass swayed in the gentle breeze, the bride walked down the aisle while the pianist from Around Town Entertainment played “Here Comes the Bride.” After the bride and groom made their first kiss, the two walked out to All You Need Is Love by The Beatles. After that, the guests headed to the cocktail room for drinks while a jazz trio provided by Around Town Entertainment delighted the audience.

The reception followed into the grand ballroom, a room designed to accentuate the beauty of a waterfront affair. This room was stunning, as the high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the beach. It was the perfect setting to view an extraordinary sunset. The bride and groom made their entrance as  The A-List Band from Around Town Entertainment prepared a carefully planned playlist according to Jessica and Jon’s request. There was a mix of the most popular to the most up-to-date songs on their list.

The wedding band started by performing a cover of “Wonderwall” Oasis as the crowd sang along. The father and daughter then had their dance to “Daddy’s Little Girl” on Steve Conway. The mother and daughter had their moment during “My Wish” Rascal Flatts. When dinner concluded, an after-party back down on the beach completed the evening. From there,  an open bar and more cover songs from Young Jeezy, Ying Yang Twins, 2Pac, Juice Wrld, Redbone, The Proclaimers, and many more. Tiki torches and fire pits lit up the night sky and guests enjoyed the best wedding they’ve ever attended!

Congratulations Jessica and Jon

An Everlasting Love

An Everlasting Love

Nicholas and Breanna had a rather inauspicious start to their relationship. It only took the two a few days to meet up after meeting online. Nicholas was with his best friend who was visiting from Scotland. Ivana was with her best friend in a bar having a few drinks.

Later that evening, after probably a few too many drinks, they thought it would be fun for the four of them to meet. The night turned into heading to a local music venue where there was more drinking and dancing into the early hours of the morning.

After that they all hit the local fried chicken shop. Nicholas knew Breanna was the one after she tried to hijack someone’s hoverboard, and ordered a massive amount of chicken! It managed to be the most random night ever with good fun!

Fast forward to December 2018, and the two adventure-seekers had moved in together, got engaged and even quit their jobs to travel the world together. Those days and nights involved a lot of late-night fried chicken, electronic dance music, and plenty of live music events.

When it was time for them to plan their wedding, they both had a mutual agreement on who they wanted to perform on their special day. They found themselves choosing Around Town Entertainment as the musical act for the night. They have been fans of Around Town Entertainment’s Altitude Band for a very long time after their event planner mentioned their name. The Altitude Band is composed of elite, talented and experienced musicians that have toured with some of today’s top artists on some of the world’s biggest stages.

On September 1, 2019, The Altitude Band headed to the historic Wave Hill Public Gardens in New York to celebrate Nicholas and Breanna’s new life together. The day started with a ceremony that took place on the Great Lawn. A guitarist from The Altitude Band played a different version of “A Thousand Years” by The Piano Guys while guests took their seats. When the bride made her entrance, the guitarist played a touching solo of “I Choose You” by Sara Bareilles.  After the bride and groom exchanged vows, they had their first kiss as “This Will Be” by Natalie Cole played in the background. Perfect song selection for the occasion!

Cocktail hour followed immediately afterwards on the Lower Lawn adjacent to the Wave Hill House where a jazz trio delighted guests with relaxing music as they walked in. The main reception was held in the Armor Hall, a Romanesque hall with a big dance floor.

Surrounded by the towering cathedral windows and wood ceiling, The Altitude Band played “Happy” Pharrell Williams as the bride and groom’s parents entered the building. Then, the wedding band performed a cover of Signed, Sealed, and Delivered by Stevie Wonder as the bride and groom made their appearance in front of friends and family.

The pair had their first dance to “All My Life” K-Ci and JoJo. The father and daughter held an emotional moment as they danced to “I Loved Her First” Heartland. Then it was the mother and son’s turn as the two paired up to sing “Child of Mine” Carole King. The night continued as guests packed the dance floor to enjoy a high energy set which included cover songs from Benny Bennasi, Calvin Harris, Beyonce, Skrillex, 30 Seconds to Mars, and many more! This was a beautiful ending to an amazing celebration! The crowd loved every moment of it!

Best wishes Nicholas and Breanna!

Surprise! We’re Getting Married!

David proposed to Jillian at home with a giant ring pop. He knelt down on April 1 and Jillian’s response was, “Are you serious?” Of course, when she realized that this was not an April Fools’ joke, she immediately said yes. After years of dating and traveling the world together, they were ready to make the big commitment to each other. The proposal was sweet, authentic and totally David. The fact that it was a strange day to ask someone to marry him didn’t even enter his mind.

Jillian remembered being shocked and surprised and incredibly happy that this was finally happening. Then they both realized that it was April Fool’s, and they questioned whether or not to tell anyone. This was such a special moment for the two of them and so they decided not to tell any of their friends. It was their little secret!

Afterwards, Jillian immediately phone home to let her mother know the good news. Her mother could not believe it. At first, her mother had a strange reaction and told David to stop joking around. Jillian insisted that they were serious. It was all sorted out eventually, and her mother was happy for both of them.

Now, a year later and they were almost at the big day. The mother helped David and Jillian plan the wedding. She had high recommendations for Around Town Entertainment for the live music after seeing them perform live at other weddings she had attended. Around Town Entertainment was honored to have been chosen for their very special day.

On November 1, 2019, Around Town Entertainment’s A-List Band traveled to Delamar Greenwich in Greenwich, CT to play a special set for David and Jillian’s wedding. We love playing at Delamar Greenwich because it is always a wedding experience that surpasses every bride and groom’s expectations. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Greenwich Harbor, this property has been a destination wedding location for years.

The night was held in the beautiful Delamar Greenwich Ballroom, filled with intimate decor, along with its waterfront terrace views which made it the perfect spot to celebrate. The bride and groom made their grand entrance while the wedding band played “Happy” Pharrell Williams as the guests cheered and sang along.  Next up The A-List Band from Around Town Entertainment played an emotional ballad of “Our House” Crosby Stills Nash & Young as the bride and groom held their first dance. The celebrations continued as the wedding band played more cover songs of The Eagles, The Beatles, Ed Sheeran, and many more to end a night to remember!

This was another successful showcase by A-List Band. The band’s decades of music experience will sweep you off your feet and ensure that your special requests will be honored and performed seamlessly. When the Proposal Doesn’t Go as Planned

Edward’s plan was to propose to Hillary on top of the Omni William Hotel in Pennsylvania after a gorgeous dinner. It was a starlit night, the cool breeze felt beautiful until Edward got down on one knee. Hillary could tell that he had worked so hard, saving money for the ring. She really appreciated it! He ended up picking the most romantic engagement setting he could find.

When the time had come, Edward gazed into Hillary’s eyes, popped open the ring box and then… before he could say anything an older woman reeking of alcohol came out of nowhere, grabbing his shoulder and leaned into his face. “Is he PROPOSING???!!!!” she screamed.

Everyone on the roof stopped what they were doing and stared at them and the elderly drunk woman with pink hair. They both stood there mouth gaping and Edward said softly, “Well ma’am, I’m trying to.” Drunk lady’s husband came running across the roof, apologized profusely and led her away as she yelled, “They’re gonna get marrriiieeed,” to anyone that would listen. Edward shrugged, looked at Hillary and said, “Well?” Hillary said, “Ok.” And that’s how they got engaged!

Fast forward to their wedding on October 31, 2020 at Skytop Lodge in Skytop, Pennsylvania! The couple invited Around Town Entertainment to play on their special day. They chose the award-winning Altitude Band for the reception.

Skytop Lodge is one of the most coveted wedding destinations in the Northeast and the wedding band were honored to play in front of Edward and Hillary’s for their very special day! The ceremony took place at Skytop Lodge’s infamous Formal Garden. Over 100 friends and family took their seats as they waited patiently for the couple to walk down Skytop’s dramatic outdoor staircase. As the pianist from Around Town Entertainment performed “Samson” Regina Spektor, the bride headed towards the aisle in stunning fashion. When the bride finally kissed the groom, the wedding pianist played “Signed Sealed and Delivered” as the two walked off into the sunset.

The party continued in the Evergreen Ballroom Courtyard for cocktails and the reception. With soaring ceilings and magnificent crystal chandeliers flanked by a wall of French doors that lead out into the Evergreen Gardens, The Evergreen Ballroom was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding. A jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment delighted the crowd as they enjoyed fine cocktails and laughter. Then, it was time for Around Town Entertainment’s Altitude Band to take the stage.

The Altitude Band started with a very unique cover of “Masquerade” from Phantom as the bride and groom entered the building. The band created a very specific rhythm while also making it dramatic enough to be true to the song with bass sticks and drum patterns that made it a theater feel. Next, the wedding band played “Love that Girl” by Raphael Saadiq as the newlyweds made their first dance. Then, the father and daughter had their own duet to  “Tupelo Hone” Van Morrison. The mother and son had their dance to Nat King Cole “Ramblin Rose.” After dinner and cake, the dance floor was packed all night as the Altitude Band sang songs Four Tops, Perry Como, Rick James, and Halloween themed music to finish off a truly remarkable night!

Best wishes Edward and Hillary!

Brittany’s Fortune

Brittany’s Fortune 150 150 adam Michaels

Brittany’s Fortune

Brittany and Michael had been dating for a while and they both knew they were going to get engaged because they had looked at rings together. They actually had already been planning the wedding, but Michael hadn’t actually asked. So you would think that there is no way that there would be a surprise, right? Ha! Wrong!

So it just so happened that on New Years Day 2018 – they have a family tradition of eating Chinese food and getting excited about fortunes. Michael’s sister’s boyfriend got up to help grab the fortune cookies and to pass them out to everyone. Everyone is cracking into their cookies when Brittany says “oh, look I’ve got two fortunes” then she yells (in front of the parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandpa) “#&%* Off!”

It turns out her fortune cookie said “Will you marry me?” and she thought Michael was playing a trick on her! Lo and behold, he wasn’t! She turned next to her, he was on one knee, and the rest was history!

They enlisted the award-winning Around Town Entertainment to perform at their wedding because they both have been a big fan of their unique performances and talented musical style for many years. The wedding band brings high energy experience to every event in Maine, New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey. The bands have elite, talented and studied musicians that have toured with some of today’s top artists. They have been featured as artists and musicians in their own right on major records and have graced some of the world’s biggest stages.

On October 12, 2019, Around Town Entertainment traveled to The View Point Hotel in York Beach, Maine for Brittany and Michael’s very special day. The panoramic Atlantic Ocean and historic Cape Neddick Lighthouse provided an ideal backdrop for a classic ceremony outside.

A pianist from Around Town Entertainment played a mix of classic love sounds like “You and I” Stevie Wonder, “Unchained Melody”, “How Long Will I Love You” Ellie Goulding, and more while guests walked in and seated. When the bridesmaids and flower girls walked in, the pianist played an instrumental piano version of “I Will Always Love You” Whitney Houston. Then, the bride walked down the aisle to “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” Elvis sung by the uncle of the bride. The bride and groom exchanged vows and made their first kiss as the pianist played  “Whole New World” Aladdin while friends and family cheered them on.

After that, pictures were taken and the cocktail hour began. Around Town Entertainment provided a jazz trio that played classic blues to set the mood while guests enjoyed View Point Hotel’s beautifully landscaped lawns. From the lush lawns to the ocean-front terrace patio, this was one of the most beautiful venues on the East Coast.

Immediately following cocktails was a beautiful reception held in the outside tent. The Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment played “This Will Be Everlasting Love” Natalie Cole as the  bride and groom made a dramatic entrance through a granite staircase to the reception tent. Then the bride and groom held their first dance to “Feels Like Home” Chantal Kreviazu. The father/daughter had a touching moment as the pair performed a dance to “My Girl” Temptations. The mother/son also had their intimate moment to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” Israel Kamakawiwoʻole. After that, there were more dancing as guests packed the floor and enjoyed cover songs of Bruno Mars, The Temptations, Walk the Moon, and so many more to end a fabulous night!

Congratulations Brittany and Michael!

The Perfect Way to Propose

The Perfect Way to Propose 150 150 adam Michaels

The Perfect Way to Propose

After several years of resorting to online dating, Jenna and John finally found luck on their side.  Jenna found John in the lobby of the Marriott Irvine Spectrum in California, watching sports of course. The two of them enjoyed conversation and cocktails at the rooftop bar, not realizing a couple hours had already flown by. With the sun setting and not wanting the evening to end, the two of them decided to extend the date through dinner. Jenna was drawn to Keith’s love for music and the San Jose Sharks! Keith was attracted to Michelle’s radiant smile, passion to be kind to others, and strong work ethic.

After a few short days of texting, it didn’t take long for them to connect again in person. Jeff recommended a newly opened rooftop bar. He offered to pick her up, as a gentleman should. On the way to dinner John noticed Jen had lip gloss on her teeth. He leaned over from the passenger’s seat to confirm, which prompted the two to have their first kiss! Cute!

Over tacos and margaritas Jenna and John shared stories of their childhoods and painful educational experiences. When it came time to pay the tab Jenna pulled out her credit card. John was nervous that she wanted to pay or go Dutch, but after a few exchanges of who should cover the bill Michelle said, “I’ll pay, because I choose.”

Jenna and John would make plans to see each other again over the next several months. Just a few weeks shy of their one-year anniversary, Jeff and Jenna decided to take a last-minute trip to Maui. Keith convinced Michelle to go on a helicopter ride, under the pretense of it being a “photography opportunity” for his friend, Joe. The helicopter landed on a cliff for a little intermission/break when Jeff got down on one knee, and asked her to be his wife.

Jeff and Jenna spent the rest of their week in Maui celebrating with Mai Tais and sharing the good news with family and friends! Then, they contacted Around Town Entertainment immediately to have the wedding band play at their wedding because they both love hearing unique covers of their favorite songs!

They had their wedding ceremony and reception on October 26, 2019 at Shorehaven Golf Club in Norwalk, Connecticut.  Around Town Entertainment had planned a very special playlist for their special day and were so excited to perform in front of their family and friends.

The day began with cocktails from a jazz trio provided from Around Town Entertainment. Guests were treated to classic jazz hits to warm up the evening as family and friends waiting patiently for the bride and groom to make their grand entrance.  The 100+ guests were enjoying mingling and dancing around the bar.

After that, the guests made their way to The Main Ballroom for the reception. As Jenna and Jeff made their way to the dance floor, The After Party Band from  Around Town Entertainment performed an electronic cover of “Five More Hours” Deorro. Following that was a father/daughter dance to “I Lived” One Republic.  Then, the mother and son danced to “My Wish” Rascal Flatts. Following that, was a beautiful and touching tune cover of “Sweet Lovin’” Sigala during the cake cutting ceremony. The party continued as the The After Party Band played hits from Taylor Swift, Kygo, Whitney Houston, and more!

This was another beautiful showcase by Around Town Entertainment. Around Town Entertainment is proud to have been chosen as the best CT wedding band, NY wedding band, and NJ wedding band in 2020.

The French Connection

The French Connection

It was love at first sight. This was Katie and Jeffrey’s first trip out of the country.  Both of them were in their 30s and spent most of the last decade single. But they met and fit with each other so fast! In one of the most romantic cities in the world- Paris!

Katie was under The Eiffel Tower when her attractive smile drew Jeffrey to initiate a conversation. He wanted to see if there was chemistry and interest. After a little back and forth, Jeffrey asked Katie out for dinner. Their first date was something like two and a half hours long! After they hung out, they couldn’t wait to get to know each other more!

After a few more dates, they found that there was a lot of commonality between the two. Even the premarital therapist told them that they were the most compatible couple she has ever met! We second that!

They also had experience with the foster care system and had individually decided that we wanted to adopt kids in the future. His professional background as a social worker opened doors for deeper conversations about Katie’s experience being adopted as a child. Another unique aspect of our relationship is that they got engaged less than a year after their meeting in France! Wow!

Both of them were excited to begin planning their dream wedding. However, there were times where they were stressed out too. Fortunately, a close friend of theirs told them about the Authority Band from Around Town Entertainment. That friend used the same wedding band for their special day and everyone loved it! Katie and Jeffrey were so relieved to find a wedding band for their big day and booked them very quickly.

On October 24, 2020,  Around Town Entertainment packed up their instruments and traveled to  Ram’s Head Inn in Shelter Island Heights, NY. The Ram’s Head Inn is gorgeous in any season, and fall is no exception.  The venue and setting was magnetic, genuine, and beautiful!

The evening started with cocktails and jazz music from a bassist, guitarist and pianist from Around Town Entertainment. Guests sat in leather chairs and mingled while the working fireplaces made the fall wedding reception warm and welcoming. After that was the main reception as friends and families waited anxiously for Katie and Jeffrey to make their grand entrance.

Emerging from the curtains, the spotlight shined on the newlyweds as they made their way to the dance floor. The Authority Band from Around Town Entertainment played a cover of “Into the Mystic” Van Morrison as the bride and groom held their first dance. Throughout the evening, the dance floor was packed with singing and dancing all night. Friends and family were living their best life  and enjoyed their time celebrating with each other.  Some of the songs played included favorites like “Sorry” Justin Beiber, “I Want You Back” Jackson 5, “Proud Mary” Tina Turner, and so many more!

Disco in a 170-Year-Old Synagogue

Talya and Adam had their first kiss in January of 2017 at a bar called Nomad in New York City. Adam chose it because it happened to be a few blocks away from his apartment. Slick move! Then they went nearby to McSorley’s for an additional drink and went their separate ways after that.

The next night, Adam was out to dinner with his family and coincidently, he bumped into Talya again. So they decided to meet up in the East Village later in the evening for drinks again. He left on a work trip to India the next day and came back on Valentine’s Day.

Adam took Talya to a wonderful Japanese dinner in Tribeca. Since that date, there hasn’t been a day that has gone by that they didn’t speak. There was an instant spark between them and they couldn’t get enough of each other. It was even more special that they had similar tastes in art and music!

One month after dating they knew they had to get married. The first thing they did was call up Around Town Entertainment. They asked us to perform at their wedding. From there, Around Town Entertainment helped them create a carefully designed playlist that catered to their own personal song recommendations and most popular requests. They picked the Altitude Band, a 12 piece band which included 5 lead vocalists, piano, bass, drums, guitar, sax, trumpet and trombone- the perfect selection for their needs!

They had their wedding day on August 25, 2019 at The Angel Orensanz Foundation in the Lower East Side. Built in 1849, the building is considered to be the oldest reformed Synagogue in the United States. The ceremony starting early evening as the violinist and pianist from Around Town Entertainment  played slow, instrumental wedding ballads as the bride walked down the aisle as guests awed in amazement. As the bride made her grand entrance, the groom looked stunning in his black tuxedo anxiously awaiting the arrival of his new bride to be. After exchanging vows, the two had their first kiss while the pianist and violinist played “When You Need Me” Bruce Springsteen.

After that, it was time to move to the mezzanine for cocktails. Guests enjoyed sitting back and enjoying drinks from the balcony while observing the jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment play classic rhythm and blues. The guests loved every second of it as they danced and mingled around.

The party continued in the Main Floor, where the 200+ guests packed the room to witness the bride and groom’s grand entrance. The couple made their grand entrance as Around Town Entertainment’s Altitude Band performed an uplifting version of “You Make my Dreams ” Hall and Oates. After that, Talya and Adam enjoyed their first dance to “Stand By Me” Ben E. King. Then, the father had his dance with the daughter while the wedding band performed an intimate cover of “When You Need Me” Bruce Springsteen. The night ended with classic disco music throwbacks from Donna Summer, Diana Ross, Bee Gess, and so many more as the music radiated from speakers facing the sanctuary.

This was another beautiful showcase by Around Town Entertainment. Around Town Entertainment is proud to have been chosen as the best NY wedding band, NJ wedding band, and CT wedding band in 2020.

A Perfect Evening at Hudson House

A Perfect Evening at Hudson House 150 150 adam Michaels

A Perfect Evening at Hudson House

Danielle moved to New York City in the summer of 2015: her third city in 5 years! Wow! She finally landed a dream job working to combat educational inequity in the Bronx but was still on the hunt for a dream partner. A friend from NYC introduced her to Jerry and that became her first real love interest in the new city.

Jerry was a lifelong Yankee fan and season ticket holder. Danielle started to lose hope after a few days of unanswered messages when they first started talking, but decided not to hold a once-in-a-lifetime World Series run against him. The two finally settled on a date the weekend after the Yankees lost it all at a pizza place near Danielle’s apartment. It was very clear that they were on the same page from the very beginning. The conversation was normal and easy. They had so much in common!

About a month after the first date, Jerry invited Danielle to a concert with him and his group of friends. It was the first time that she really got to see what his life was like and the kind of person he was outside of our one-on-one interactions. He was even more kind, funny, and genuine than she had thought. Even though they had come from different backgrounds, their views and similar music tastes aligned perfectly.

From that point on, she knew that they would have a future together. They would return to the same pizza place a year later for a surprise engagement party with their closest family and friends after he proposed. So original!

They decided to have their wedding on November 1, 2019 at Hudson House in Jersey City, New Jersey. They invited Around Town Entertainment to perform on their special day and of course, we couldn’t refuse! This was an elegant space that left us  with memories to be cherished for a lifetime!

The day began with a dazzling performance by a pianist from Around Town Entertainment. The pianist performed “A Thousand Years” The Piano Guys as guests took their seats. Then, the bride walked down the aisle to “Can’t Help Falling In Love” Haley Reinhart. After the bride and groom made their first kiss as newlyweds, the pianist played “Beautiful Day” U2.

The celebrations moved to the Hudson Room for cocktails where the jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment performed classic jazz hits to warm up the crowd while they soaked in the breathtaking views of New York City. The 300+ guests were having the time of their lives as they danced around the bar and floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

After that, the guests made their way to The Grand Ballroom for the reception. The wedding band, Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment, played “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” Stevie Wonder as the new bride and groom entered the building. Following that up was a very soft, touching version of Beyonce “Halo.”  The wedding band then performed  ‘Unforgettable’ by Nat King Cole as the father had a dance with the daughter.  Celebrations continued as the Around Town Band played hits from Bruno Mars, Cassie, Prince, and Mary J Blige! What a fantastic ending to an epic night!

The Around Town Band brings high energy experience to every event in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. The bands elite, talented and studied musicians have toured with some of today’s top artists. They have been featured as artists and musicians in their own right on major records and have graced some of the world’s biggest stages.
