Love Songs from the Heart

Jennie fell in love with Jason’s kids first. Jason was raising his three children on his own, and he hired Jennie to teach music to the kids on the weekends and weeknights when he had them. After about five months, Jennie had fallen head over heels with the kids, and the feeling seemed to be mutual. It was around then that Jennie had started to let her guard down and got to know Jason beyond their professional relationship.

Jennie was ready to quit because she had grown way too close to all of them to maintain professional boundaries. Jason felt relieved because he thought he was going to have to fire her! So it turned out the kids loved her so much they had been wondering for months why they weren’t dating.

With their blessing, Jennie and Jason went on their first date. A few months later, Jason surprised Jennie with a bouquet from their garden, and a serenade proposal with songs he’d written about her. After she said “yes,” he gave Jennie three more letters, each written by his three kids. How could anyone say no to that?!

After the successful engagement, they immediately called up Around Town Entertainment to perform at their wedding at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. The Indian Trail Club is a wonderful venue and is one of the band’s favorite venues to play at. It boasts lakefront views with stunning trees and colorful flowers perfect for a daytime wedding.

The evening started with cocktails right on the beautiful lake in the outside patio with multiple bars surrounded by breathtaking nature and views. Around Town Entertainment’s jazz trio played “Gypsy Jazz,” a style of The Bailsmen, to warm up the crowd as they mingled, danced, and sipped on drinks. The vibe was energetic and the jazz trio received many compliments on how delightful their playlist selections were.

After cocktails, everyone moved to Indian Trail Club’s Ballroom for the main reception. Scheduled to perform was the Around Town Band provided by Around Town Entertainment. Jennie and Jason chose the wedding band Around Town Band because of its high energy performance. The bands have compiled elite, talented and studied musicians who have toured with some of today’s top artists throughout the world’s biggest stages.

The bride and groom strolled into the Ballroom while Around Town Band played “Everything” by Michael Buble.  The newlyweds first dance was to “Irreplaceable” by Beyonce.  The father danced with his daughter to “Daddy Dance with Me” by Krystal Keith. The mother danced with her son to “Days like This” by Van Morrison. The dance floor remained packed the rest of the night as the wedding band played uplifting hits like Earth, Wind, and Fire, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, and much more!

What a night filled with good people, good vibes, and breathtaking views! It was quite an amazing start to Jennie and Jason’s new life chapter!

Snow Wedding at Fort Hamilton

Snow Wedding at Fort Hamilton

Peter plays hockey at Brooklyn’s Lefrak Center, so he told her that he wanted to go to “practice” for an upcoming season game, but Sophia had no idea what was coming. They both invited some friends as a double date and so they could get some good pictures.

Peter had a Snapchat filter made that said “Will you marry me?.” Haha! The filter was set up to go online at 6pm, so as soon as it turned 6pm he took Sophia to the middle of the ice rink. He asked her to take a selfie. Knowing her she would want to check the picture and roll through the filters.

Peter told her to read the filter and while she was still in shock, it definitely surprised her to look up above the rink.  All their family and friends were waiting with big signs that said, “Will you marry Sophia?” After that, Peter dropped to one knee, got the ring out, and confessed his love for her with all his heart and asked if she would spend the rest of her life with him. She said “Yes”, marking one of the happiest moments of their lives!

Of course, there were many more pictures taken on their wedding day. They also requested Around Town Entertainment to perform at their wedding as they were huge fans of their cover songs. Around Town Entertainment’s Altitude Band was honored to have been chosen for their special day to play at Fort Hamilton’s Community Club in Brooklyn, NY. Of course, Around Town Entertainment didn’t disappoint as they gladly gave the audience a fantastic show.

Fort Hamilton is a unique venue as the largest military installation and the only “active” military base in the New York metro area. The original garrison has since been converted into the Community Club- a New York City historic landmark. The Community Club offers the perfect setting to play in front of a large crowd with it’s beautiful grounds that add a sense of history while providing beauty to the wedding.

The day started out picture perfect. Sophia and Peter had an outdoor winter ceremony that was breathtaking with the Verrazzano-Narrows bridge in the background. The weather cooperated fully, so that was also helpful. Guests were excited to be there and were impressed with the views.

As family and friends gathered there seats, a DJ provided by Around Town Entertainment pumped up the guests. The DJ played a set of various emotional ballads including Coldplay “Yellow” as the bride walked down the aisle. The song was then mixed into BBMak “Back Here” as bride and groom exchange vows followed by an encore of Lifehouse’s “You and I.” Very fitting to end a beautiful ceremony!

Next up, was cocktails and reception in the terrace, which was a perfect way to enjoy the wonderful summer Saturday evening. After that, the wedding band, Around Town Entertainment’s Altitude Band set the mood for the reception. The bride and groom took center stage in the main room. First, the NY wedding band introduced the newly married couple by playing “We Found Love” by Rihanna, Calvin Harris. Then they had their first dance to “Alone” by Marshmello. After that, the father danced with his daughter while the band played Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.” The mother and son performed their duet to “You’re Still the One” by Shania Twain.

The guests packed the dance floor all night as the Altitude Band played hit after hit ending a very memorable night of sweat, dance, and energy! Every performance by the Altitude Band reaches the highest level and you will leave breathless.

Best wishes Sophia and Peter!

Farmhouse Wedding at Audrey’s

Farmhouse Wedding at Audrey’s

Shawn proposed in the sweetest way, and he really surprised Sara! They had recently moved from California to New York and he had just returned from an Army deployment. Once he had the ring, he thought of a lot of places he could ask but decided that their new home would be the most special. He was right!

As Sophia walked down the stairs one night he told her how much he loved her and how he appreciated the support in moving across the country and taking care of things while he was at sea. He got on one knee and asked if she would spend the rest of her life with him. Sophia immediately said “YES!”

Since they lived in New York now, they couldn’t pass up inviting Around Town Entertainment to perform at their wedding. They picked their wedding date to be on November 14, 2020 at Audrey’s Farmhouse in Wallkill, NY. This 3,000-square-foot venue was the perfect setting for the wedding as it set the night’s celebration perfectly.

The day started with a pianist from Around Town Entertainment performing Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years as guests took their seats. The bride walked down the aisle to John Legend’s All of Me. After the bride and groom kissed, the pianist played a very touching version of Ray LaMontagne – You Are the Best Thing. Guests cheered loudly as the music flowed well and the reactions around the venue were priceless.

After that, everyone moved to Audrey’s Farmhouse Barn for cocktails and mingling. The complimentary jazz trio provided by Around Town Entertainment played classic throwbacks in the 2,000-square-foot barn. Guests enjoyed the music and relaxed on leather chairs while being surrounded by white walls, modern sconces, and wood floors. Very fancy! An open-air, walled patio was a dazzling addition for the cocktail hour, as many guests enjoyed the fresh breath of air outside.

Up next, the reception took place in the Greenhouse. As guests took their seats the wedding band, Around Town Entertainment’s A-List rocked the stage to introduce the bridal party as they performed a cover of Higher Love by Kygo/Whitney Houston. Shawn and Sera walked out and had their first dance to their favorite song, “Head & Heart” by Joel Corry. Everyone loved this song and sang along with the bride and groom. It was a very touching moment! Next, the two held hands and had their first dance to an emotional ballad of Billy Joel Just The Way You Are. Following that up were dances with the parents. The father had a slow dance with his daughter as the wedding band played “You’ve Got a Friend” by James Taylor. The mother slow danced with her son to a touching rendition of “Forever Young” by Rod Stewart.  After dinner, the bride and groom cut the cake while the wedding band played an uplifting version of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” Frankie Valli. The night continued with the wedding band playing songs from T-Pain, LANY, Jojo, Paula DeAnda, and many before the end of the night!

This was another spectacular showcase by A-List Band. The band brings decades of music experience and sweat to every live performance. They will honor all your favorite requests from top modern hits to throwback classics with a special twist. The band continues to perform at the highest level to ensure that all guests leave happy and out of breath.

Best Day Ever

Best Day Ever 150 150 adam Michaels

Best Day Ever

Trevor went to Florida to meet his girlfriend’s family (they’re from New York). They had been together for a year and a half and he wanted to propose when they took a day trip to Disneyland. Trevor has dabbled in some photography in college, so he decided to bring his Nikon DSLR camera along for the ride.

Trevor took “pictures” all day of her. Over the course of the day, at moments she held the camera for him.  As the sunset over Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World Resort, they did a photo op with the Nikon DSLR and he said, “Hey honey, take a picture of me with my film camera!” “Okay.”, she says as she went to take a picture.

Trevor told her to slide the exposure counter on the back. Once she did, it revealed the ring below the magenta-colored cellophane that covers the back. She was so confused until Trevor went over and took the back off and got down on one knee. Haha!

After she said “Yes!” they spent the rest of the night ride hopping until the park closed. One of the most unique proposals we have encountered so far. Brilliant!

The two asked Around Town Entertainment to perform at their wedding at Rolling Hills Country Club in Wilton, Connecticut and we couldn’t decline their invitationand we couldn’t decline their invitation.  We wanted to play at this venue again so this was a dream come true!

Rolling Hills Country Club is a wedding venue situated on 300 wooded acres in the very picturesque landscape of Fairfield County. The landscape is spectacular and provided an unforgettable backdrop for the wedding live music performance.

The day started as guests filled the outside patio of the Ambler Ballroom for cocktails before the main reception. A jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment filled the room with classic throwbacks for about an hour as guests mingled and sang along to their favorite tunes.

Next, The A-List Band from Around Town Entertainment led the celebrations inside the Ambler Room. With the packed house of about 300+ guests, the bride and groom’s parents entered the room with class and style as the wedding band played “Beautiful Day” U2. Then, the bridesmaids and ushers entered to the song, “You’re my Best Friend” by Queen. Finally, the bride and groom made their presence felt by dancing and singing to “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen. Guests also made their way to the dance floor after introductions to dance with them!

After that, the bride and groom had their first dance to Love is a Tuesday by Jake Scott. The father and daughter had their dance to “Daughters” John Mayer. The mother and son had their dance to “Forever Young” Bob Dylan. After dinner, there were more dancing as guests enjoyed songs from various artists like Evanescence, The Killers, Ariana Grande, 2Chains, Goo Goo Dolls, Third Eye Blind, and many more! Everyone had such a great time and we were so happy!

This was another successful showcase by the A-List Band, showing off the band’s decades of music experience and capability to play various genres. Each playlist is uniquely designed to your requests and musical style.

Unique Industrial Loft Wedding

Unique Industrial Loft Wedding

Rosanne and Michael’s proposal story is nothing glamorous or over the top, but it’s filled with love. Rosanne got off of work one Friday afternoon and Michael and their friends met up for happy hour drinks at their favorite dive bar. They had a pizza party to attend later that night so she insisted they stay out drinking beers & cocktails until they had to go. Michael had his hands in his pocket, not sipping his drink.

They were ready to drive over to the friends’ house when Michael suggested stopping at home to pick up food & drinks. When they arrived it was pouring rain. When Michael realized that Rosanne had no interest in leaving the car to walk in the rain, he said, “Well I guess I’ll have to do this in here,” and pulled out the ring from his jacket pocket.

No getting down on one knee, no red roses, just a long speech in a Volvo station wagon about why he loved Rosanne so much, and why he wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. He had secretly designed the ring – which had a snakeskin band & diamond that belonged to Rosanne’s grandpa. How cute!

They spent all night drinking champagne, crying, ordering pizza (they never made it to the pizza party, so they had their own!), dancing, singing, calling friends and family, and celebrating! Sounded perfect!

For their wedding, Rosanne and Michael invited Around Town Entertainment to perform on their very special day. The wedding was held at the beautiful Greenpoint Loft in Brooklyn NY.  The day was perfect! The views were fantastic and guests enjoyed taking in the skyline at the outdoor ceremony area.

As guests entered the building, a pianist from Around Town Entertainment played a unique version of “In My Life” The Beatles to the joy of many. The bride walked down the aisle to “Can’t Help Falling In Love” Elvis Presley. After the bride and groom exchanged vows, they walked off to their favorite song “Rather Be” Clean Bandit.

Next, guests moved up a floor for cocktails and mingling. The views there are even more spectacular as is the space. Five stories up in the air just off the East River, guests sat back and relaxed under the wood paneling and vaulted timber while listening to jazz music from Around Town Entertainment’s trio.

Following that was a reception in the Main Hall, featuring beautiful exposed brick and original woodwork perfect for an intimate atmosphere. The bride and groom made their grand entrance as the award-winning Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment performed “Can’t Stop The Feeling” Justin Timberlake. The two had their first dance to “Fly Me To The Moon” Frank Sinatra as they glided on the original wood flooring, surrounded by high beam ceilings and open skylight windows. The mother and daughter then had their dance to “In My Daughter’s Eyes” Martina McBride. The mother and son had theirs while the wedding band played “Never Alone” Lady Antebellum. The evening continued with dinner and more dancing. The wedding band kept the party going as guests danced hard all night long as they sang a long to cover songs from Nsync, 98 Degrees, LFO, Kid Cudi, and many more! What an end to another successful night!

All the best to Rosanne and Michael!

Intimate Beach Wedding

Intimate Beach Wedding

When Jessica moved from California to Brooklyn, New York for a job promotion, she only knew one person in the entire city. She needed to find new friends, ASAP! She matched with fellow transplanted California native Jon on The League app, and the two met for margaritas.

They both hit it off instantly, sharing a positive outlook on life and a “yes” mentality. They also had similar music tastes and hobbies. By the end of dinner, it felt like they’d known each other for years. Soon, they took trips to grab wine, hike mountains, and snow-sled. They also got together regularly for dancing on ’80s night at the bars, whipping out their favorite dance moves in stunning fashion. There is never a dull moment between the two.  They’re always up for adventure and exciting new experiences!

Their most memorable date so far was their wedding. They invited Around Town Entertainment’s A-List Band to the Crescent Beach Club in Bayville, NY after hearing positive reviews from a family friend. The Crescent Beach Club is the perfect choice for a wedding day.  They picked the A-List band because of their elite talent and proven experience as musicians, playing in front of the world’s biggest stages.

The wedding day started with a pianist from Around Town Entertainment playing “Canon in D” as family and friends arrived on the private beach. The weather was perfect and guests were very happy. It almost felt like everyone was on an island!

As the palm trees and tall beach grass swayed in the gentle breeze, the bride walked down the aisle while the pianist from Around Town Entertainment played “Here Comes the Bride.” After the bride and groom made their first kiss, the two walked out to All You Need Is Love by The Beatles. After that, the guests headed to the cocktail room for drinks while a jazz trio provided by Around Town Entertainment delighted the audience.

The reception followed into the grand ballroom, a room designed to accentuate the beauty of a waterfront affair. This room was stunning, as the high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the beach. It was the perfect setting to view an extraordinary sunset. The bride and groom made their entrance as  The A-List Band from Around Town Entertainment prepared a carefully planned playlist according to Jessica and Jon’s request. There was a mix of the most popular to the most up-to-date songs on their list.

The wedding band started by performing a cover of “Wonderwall” Oasis as the crowd sang along. The father and daughter then had their dance to “Daddy’s Little Girl” on Steve Conway. The mother and daughter had their moment during “My Wish” Rascal Flatts. When dinner concluded, an after-party back down on the beach completed the evening. From there,  an open bar and more cover songs from Young Jeezy, Ying Yang Twins, 2Pac, Juice Wrld, Redbone, The Proclaimers, and many more. Tiki torches and fire pits lit up the night sky and guests enjoyed the best wedding they’ve ever attended!

Congratulations Jessica and Jon

An Everlasting Love

An Everlasting Love 150 150 adam Michaels

An Everlasting Love

Nicholas and Breanna had a rather inauspicious start to their relationship. It only took the two a few days to meet up after meeting online. Nicholas was with his best friend who was visiting from Scotland. Ivana was with her best friend in a bar having a few drinks.

Later that evening, after probably a few too many drinks, they thought it would be fun for the four of them to meet. The night turned into heading to a local music venue where there was more drinking and dancing into the early hours of the morning.

After that they all hit the local fried chicken shop. Nicholas knew Breanna was the one after she tried to hijack someone’s hoverboard, and ordered a massive amount of chicken! It managed to be the most random night ever with good fun!

Fast forward to December 2018, and the two adventure-seekers had moved in together, got engaged and even quit their jobs to travel the world together. Those days and nights involved a lot of late-night fried chicken, electronic dance music, and plenty of live music events.

When it was time for them to plan their wedding, they both had a mutual agreement on who they wanted to perform on their special day. They found themselves choosing Around Town Entertainment as the musical act for the night. They have been fans of Around Town Entertainment’s Altitude Band for a very long time after their event planner mentioned their name. The Altitude Band is composed of elite, talented and experienced musicians that have toured with some of today’s top artists on some of the world’s biggest stages.

On September 1, 2019, The Altitude Band headed to the historic Wave Hill Public Gardens in New York to celebrate Nicholas and Breanna’s new life together. The day started with a ceremony that took place on the Great Lawn. A guitarist from The Altitude Band played a different version of “A Thousand Years” by The Piano Guys while guests took their seats. When the bride made her entrance, the guitarist played a touching solo of “I Choose You” by Sara Bareilles.  After the bride and groom exchanged vows, they had their first kiss as “This Will Be” by Natalie Cole played in the background. Perfect song selection for the occasion!

Cocktail hour followed immediately afterwards on the Lower Lawn adjacent to the Wave Hill House where a jazz trio delighted guests with relaxing music as they walked in. The main reception was held in the Armor Hall, a Romanesque hall with a big dance floor.

Surrounded by the towering cathedral windows and wood ceiling, The Altitude Band played “Happy” Pharrell Williams as the bride and groom’s parents entered the building. Then, the wedding band performed a cover of Signed, Sealed, and Delivered by Stevie Wonder as the bride and groom made their appearance in front of friends and family.

The pair had their first dance to “All My Life” K-Ci and JoJo. The father and daughter held an emotional moment as they danced to “I Loved Her First” Heartland. Then it was the mother and son’s turn as the two paired up to sing “Child of Mine” Carole King. The night continued as guests packed the dance floor to enjoy a high energy set which included cover songs from Benny Bennasi, Calvin Harris, Beyonce, Skrillex, 30 Seconds to Mars, and many more! This was a beautiful ending to an amazing celebration! The crowd loved every moment of it!

Best wishes Nicholas and Breanna!

Surprise! We’re Getting Married!

David proposed to Jillian at home with a giant ring pop. He knelt down on April 1 and Jillian’s response was, “Are you serious?” Of course, when she realized that this was not an April Fools’ joke, she immediately said yes. After years of dating and traveling the world together, they were ready to make the big commitment to each other. The proposal was sweet, authentic and totally David. The fact that it was a strange day to ask someone to marry him didn’t even enter his mind.

Jillian remembered being shocked and surprised and incredibly happy that this was finally happening. Then they both realized that it was April Fool’s, and they questioned whether or not to tell anyone. This was such a special moment for the two of them and so they decided not to tell any of their friends. It was their little secret!

Afterwards, Jillian immediately phone home to let her mother know the good news. Her mother could not believe it. At first, her mother had a strange reaction and told David to stop joking around. Jillian insisted that they were serious. It was all sorted out eventually, and her mother was happy for both of them.

Now, a year later and they were almost at the big day. The mother helped David and Jillian plan the wedding. She had high recommendations for Around Town Entertainment for the live music after seeing them perform live at other weddings she had attended. Around Town Entertainment was honored to have been chosen for their very special day.

On November 1, 2019, Around Town Entertainment’s A-List Band traveled to Delamar Greenwich in Greenwich, CT to play a special set for David and Jillian’s wedding. We love playing at Delamar Greenwich because it is always a wedding experience that surpasses every bride and groom’s expectations. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Greenwich Harbor, this property has been a destination wedding location for years.

The night was held in the beautiful Delamar Greenwich Ballroom, filled with intimate decor, along with its waterfront terrace views which made it the perfect spot to celebrate. The bride and groom made their grand entrance while the wedding band played “Happy” Pharrell Williams as the guests cheered and sang along.  Next up The A-List Band from Around Town Entertainment played an emotional ballad of “Our House” Crosby Stills Nash & Young as the bride and groom held their first dance. When the Proposal Doesn’t Go as Planned

Edward’s plan was to propose to Hillary on top of the Omni William Hotel in Pennsylvania after a gorgeous dinner. It was a starlit night, the cool breeze felt beautiful until Edward got down on one knee. Hillary could tell that he had worked so hard, saving money for the ring. She really appreciated it! He ended up picking the most romantic engagement setting he could find.

When the time had come, Edward gazed into Hillary’s eyes, popped open the ring box and then… before he could say anything an older woman reeking of alcohol came out of nowhere, grabbing his shoulder and leaned into his face. “Is he PROPOSING???!!!!” she screamed.

Everyone on the roof stopped what they were doing and stared at them and the elderly drunk woman with pink hair. They both stood there mouth gaping and Edward said softly, “Well ma’am, I’m trying to.” Drunk lady’s husband came running across the roof, apologized profusely and led her away as she yelled, “They’re gonna get marrriiieeed,” to anyone that would listen. Edward shrugged, looked at Hillary and said, “Well?” Hillary said, “Ok.” And that’s how they got engaged!

Fast forward to their wedding on October 31, 2020 at Skytop Lodge in Skytop, Pennsylvania! The couple invited Around Town Entertainment to play on their special day. They chose the award-winning Altitude Band for the reception.

Skytop Lodge is one of the most coveted wedding destinations in the Northeast and the wedding band were honored to play in front of Edward and Hillary’s for their very special day! The ceremony took place at Skytop Lodge’s infamous Formal Garden. Over 100 friends and family took their seats as they waited patiently for the couple to walk down Skytop’s dramatic outdoor staircase. As the pianist from Around Town Entertainment performed “Samson” Regina Spektor, the bride headed towards the aisle in stunning fashion. When the bride finally kissed the groom, the wedding pianist played “Signed Sealed and Delivered” as the two walked off into the sunset.

The party continued in the Evergreen Ballroom Courtyard for cocktails and the reception. With soaring ceilings and magnificent crystal chandeliers flanked by a wall of French doors that lead out into the Evergreen Gardens, The Evergreen Ballroom was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding. A jazz trio from Around Town Entertainment delighted the crowd as they enjoyed fine cocktails and laughter. Then, it was time for Around Town Entertainment’s Altitude Band to take the stage.

The Altitude Band started with a very unique cover of “Masquerade” from Phantom as the bride and groom entered the building. The band created a very specific rhythm while also making it dramatic enough to be true to the song with bass sticks and drum patterns that made it a theater feel. Next, the wedding band played “Love that Girl” by Raphael Saadiq as the newlyweds made their first dance. Then, the father and daughter had their own duet to  “Tupelo Hone” Van Morrison. The mother and son had their dance to Nat King Cole “Ramblin Rose.” After dinner and cake, the dance floor was packed all night as the Altitude Band sang songs Four Tops, Perry Como, Rick James, and Halloween themed music to finish off a truly remarkable night!

Best wishes Edward and Hillary!

Brittany’s Fortune

Brittany’s Fortune 150 150 adam Michaels

Brittany’s Fortune

Brittany and Michael had been dating for a while and they both knew they were going to get engaged because they had looked at rings together. They actually had already been planning the wedding, but Michael hadn’t actually asked. So you would think that there is no way that there would be a surprise, right? Ha! Wrong!

So it just so happened that on New Years Day 2018 – they have a family tradition of eating Chinese food and getting excited about fortunes. Michael’s sister’s boyfriend got up to help grab the fortune cookies and to pass them out to everyone. Everyone is cracking into their cookies when Brittany says “oh, look I’ve got two fortunes” then she yells (in front of the parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandpa) “#&%* Off!”

It turns out her fortune cookie said “Will you marry me?” and she thought Michael was playing a trick on her! Lo and behold, he wasn’t! She turned next to her, he was on one knee, and the rest was history!

They enlisted the award-winning Around Town Entertainment to perform at their wedding because they both have been a big fan of their unique performances and talented musical style for many years. The wedding band brings high energy experience to every event in Maine, New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey. The bands have elite, talented and studied musicians that have toured with some of today’s top artists. They have been featured as artists and musicians in their own right on major records and have graced some of the world’s biggest stages.

On October 12, 2019, Around Town Entertainment traveled to The View Point Hotel in York Beach, Maine for Brittany and Michael’s very special day. The panoramic Atlantic Ocean and historic Cape Neddick Lighthouse provided an ideal backdrop for a classic ceremony outside.

A pianist from Around Town Entertainment played a mix of classic love sounds like “You and I” Stevie Wonder, “Unchained Melody”, “How Long Will I Love You” Ellie Goulding, and more while guests walked in and seated. When the bridesmaids and flower girls walked in, the pianist played an instrumental piano version of “I Will Always Love You” Whitney Houston. Then, the bride walked down the aisle to “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” Elvis sung by the uncle of the bride. The bride and groom exchanged vows and made their first kiss as the pianist played  “Whole New World” Aladdin while friends and family cheered them on.

After that, pictures were taken and the cocktail hour began. Around Town Entertainment provided a jazz trio that played classic blues to set the mood while guests enjoyed View Point Hotel’s beautifully landscaped lawns. From the lush lawns to the ocean-front terrace patio, this was one of the most beautiful venues on the East Coast.

Immediately following cocktails was a beautiful reception held in the outside tent. The Around Town Band from Around Town Entertainment played “This Will Be Everlasting Love” Natalie Cole as the  bride and groom made a dramatic entrance through a granite staircase to the reception tent. Then the bride and groom held their first dance to “Feels Like Home” Chantal Kreviazu. The father/daughter had a touching moment as the pair performed a dance to “My Girl” Temptations. The mother/son also had their intimate moment to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” Israel Kamakawiwoʻole. After that, there were more dancing as guests packed the floor and enjoyed cover songs of Bruno Mars, The Temptations, Walk the Moon, and so many more to end a fabulous night!

Congratulations Brittany and Michael!
